I honestly can not complain about this enough.

Just had an awesome comeback that took about half an hour!
They were in our base and we had none of their turrets, we came all the way back to win.
Insanely awesome... until I got a 5 grand penalty for a game I don't remember leaving...
(I got 12grand just from the pure longness of the game, so it wasn't horrible)

TAKE OUT THIS FEATURE!

Incredible match, super fun. Won. SOLAR LOSS FOR QUITTING!? wth...
I'm on PS3 btw, in case that matters. Such a dumb way to ruin the match for me :/

I agree. I would also like to know how much of a penalty to your rating you receive for quitting anyway.

And, Joost, if you are in a game when a friend sends you an invite to their game, do you lose rating? If so, that is ridiculous. You should never be penalized for playing with your friends, especially if the developer of the game is encouraging people to buy the 3for2 and give out accounts to their friends. Can we get some clarification on this?

If you are disconnected or leave a game for any reason (including a friends invite) that counts as you leaving.

What should really be fixed is inviting friends to play who get put on the other team, even when the teams are 2v2

Yeah, this is EXTREMELY annoying. And also sometimes when you've been playing for a while, a friend gets kicked out and then, when rejoining ends up in the other team. Not cool.

And I also think that quitting when choosing character shouldn't count as a loss. Once I had just set my mind on playing as Froggy. He was taken, so I just left and joined countless times, only to discover I was in the same game and he was never available. Then I checked the leaderboards and had dropped an asswhooping 3000 (or if it was even 5000) numbers in rank. Kind of boring.

I don't get how the leaderboards work anyway and therefor I don't care too much, but it's still annoying.
