It's funny, there's this trend in this thread.

1. Claim a character should be nerfed/buffed.
2. Talk about this for 5 pages.
3. Realise the character is pretty balanced after having played the game more.

I even find Voltar underwhelming these days. I've seen him become out leveled because people really learned how to position themselves (:

This game is so balanced, that it's actually a little scary xD

Game hasn't been out for to long so it would natural that people will call for buffs or nerfs. There are a few characters that need some tweaking (Voltar and maybe Leon) but I think the game is pretty balanced.

Our internal balance list of fixes is already 2 pages long, there are definitely some lightly UP and OP skills and combos out there. Mostly small changes, but we are planning on removing and adding some complete items as well. I'll post the list here asap.

Clunk has the least changes at the moment, making him the best balanced hero out there.

Also want to thank everyone for filling in the questionnaire on the facebook page! :)

Ladies and gentlemen, warm up your F5 keys.

While it's fantastic to see how seriously you are taking the balance in your game, 2 pages of fixes is slightly worrying. The games' balance is near flawless as it is, so I'm curious as to what those two pages will say. On the other hand, you have already proven that you know how to keep things balanced, so probably my worry is unnecessary.

Not that kind of soon. We'll be balancing next week as well. We need to carefully check if we didn't break anything else with the new changes. :)

D'awwww, I thought it was the good kind of asap. Let's hope you don't share timezones with Valve: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time

Test any balance changes as much as you can, it's really easy to upset any kind of balance that this game might have if you're not careful.

As this post signifies, it seems like you guys are very careful. I have faith in any balance changes that may come around in the near future.

Want a TL;DR? Too bad, read it, you lazy bums.

As a Leon, I'd agree for a shimmer when I'm hit. It's not like I don't have a shimmer already if I get hit with a slow from explosion/time warp/bull, and ensnare from Clunk, or a stun from Froggy G. Numbers fly out of me all the time when nothing else is around. The shimmer would only be an advantage for me to fake my running path, and trick a player to intercept where I'm not going to be.

I also agree Lonestar should almost be left alone. He's just as easy to be a murdering machine with as it is easy to fumble and feed the enemy team. It's player skill. I feel like a lot of the "balance issues" are due to player skill, and not really because they are cheap or have no generic counter at all, like Yuri at the top of the map at the enemy's base where he's basically unreachable for most characters.

Well said. All of it.
