If Tornado has no shield up and gets hit by a Tongue it cancels Tornado Move. It has happened to me plenty of times. Silence is more effective then you believe but only if you are truly a team player. My friend Tongues a Froggy who is Silenced and can't escape and me and my wife along with him focus fire the frog. Dead frog.

Ugh, Yuri's mines are so annoying. Even with the big boost of health he still almost one-hit kills Leon with just one mine. Anytime you get close he drops one and it automatically hits you.

The same match had a very annoying end game. All he did was sit back at his base dropping mines. He didn't have the healing core ability at least, but still, it wasn't fun. You couldn't get anywhere. They didn't attack because I'd kill them as soon as they'd leave, but they just camped at their core dropping mines.

Luckily I was playing with a bot Clunk who just ran through them eventually, but then of course right before we were gonna win the Yuri guy quit. That was pretty lame. I worked really hard for that win and had to deal with his BS playing and then he doesn't even get a loss.

You should be punished like crazy if you leave a game. Just a little solar punishment is not enough. That doesn't matter as they can earn it back. However a loss in permanent. People are cheating the system. You should get a loss. In other games quitting the game gets you an auto loss no matter what. That's the way it should be. I have never quit a game early even when it was obvious we were gonna loss. I hope the designers do something about that sometime, it's really annoying.

And to warn anyone who plays xbox 360, the guy's gamertag I believe was Shtrauspinach, he played split screen with someone else. It was a shame because he was a pretty skilled player, lame that he resorts to quitting early and taking the thrill of the victory away from me by quitting so he doesn't get a loss.

Hmmm, sorry about that then. Last time I checked people were talking about it like they didn't get a loss. Was that changed or were we just wrong about that? Out of curiosity where would one fine such information? Thanks in advance.

yeah you do get a leaver penalty that decreases your leaderboard rank, but I didn't know this for a long time either.
It's not very clear ingame..

and if you see such a Yuri, just go for health I would say, so that you can survive a few mines and kill him or make him retreat in the meanwhile.

I'm pretty lazy but one of the dev's mentioned it and also, upon leaving a match it says it'll be marked on your leader board rating, as a loss... or forfeit... forfeit sounds worse.

...had an... interesting... game today... A split screen trio using Yuri, Froggy, and Leon.

Yuri essentially stacked the Time Warp improved slow, cooldown/duration, and giant field. The Leon predictably using Slow/Vamp, and Froggy with the souped up Stun Splash dash with longer lasting and attack speed buffed Tornado.

Unfortunately my partners were a bot that kept getting ganked since the AI has no clue what to do... and an asshat Lonestar that was AFK for 10 minutes before he DC'ed.

Doesn't help when three coordinated players who are abusing the * out of Slow/Stun gang up on you. Unfortunately it took quite a while for me to get the Solar for invisibility... because basically they kept running around specifically to gank. (They'd split between 2 or 3 routes to try and trap me, then well with the absurd slowing power of Leon's sword... yea)

Eventually I built Leon to have Slow and full tough lash reach. Buffed up the sword bit by bit (yes, I used slow, sue me, these cheapos deserve it.)

About 3 ragequits on my side later... between building up clones, and that they also kept ignoring droids... it wound up being that my "team" blew up all the turrets. Obviously I didn't win though. They caused the Clunk who ganked the group once to ragequit... Can't say I blame him... He gets pincered and eats what, a 6 second tornado with a laser on his head, and Leon on his *? Had his HP buffed up a decent bit too, but it got whittled down so fast it was ridiculous. They quickly run up to the Drill and finish it in about 20s.

There's no way for me to take 3 guys head on... especially not when the combo is Yuri Mega Slow, Leon/Froggy Pincering victims, then Tornado + Slow spam. You simply can't move. I can see Yuri being capable of slowing folks to a snail pace, but that's after 700ish Solar. Leon only needs 220. I so see why folks *HATE* Froggy G now though.

Still... 13 kills 6 deaths. Considering most of the game it was 3-on-1. It's not bad. First two deaths were my impatient self even thinking I could solo any of them without their buddies being close by. (Obviously, had it not been for Slow/Vamp, my Leon woudn't stand a chance. Take that for whatever it's worth.)

It's already been said that you do get a loss, but when someone ragequits everybody loses out.

Their leaderboard rankings drop more then if they had just taken it on the chin, however nobody gains any points, because only FULL games count to the rankings.

I'm gonna have to really force myself to team up when I want to play this game. I've rage-quitted a few times and I don't mind saying it, but every time I have I've not done it to avoid the loss, I've done it because every time I think I've seen the worst possible player in the world, I get paired up with an even bigger * next game. And when I'm lumped with two buffets like that, I just save myself the time and aggrevation.

WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN THAT YOU PRIVATE MATCH AND LEARN THE GAME FIRST, AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

So many downvoted and avoided players...
