To take it further even if they nerf the slow to only 25% you still won't get away because just as you are almost home free he'll pull you back with tongue. Basically Tongue+any movement hinder ability is way op for one character to have. Now if Yuri slowed for him it's fine because character combos are supposed to be stronger, but in a 1v1 some shouldn't be able to win because they're able to take away your movement.

I still don't get why people are so focused on that slow effect. It's annoying, but hardly the most dangerous move in the game, and not much of a threat except for early in a match. Even with Yuri (who is completely immobile if slow is combined with attack speed and/or attack clones I usually get away unless it's early game and I charge ahead alone.

Would people complain about that ability as much if it was changed to an area effect and did 100 damage in under a second, instead of gradually whittling down your health and giving your team time to back you up? Clunk can already do that and nobody seems to care.

You can not use team combos to decide balance. The only way to balance is to look at 1v1 and this ability of Leon's is a 1v1 killer. It needs to be called immoblize not slow because you literally crawl away, not onl does it slow your movement it slows your attack as well so that also gives human edge. It's good early game late game, mid game whenever. Especially paired with tongue snatch like I said It makes it impossible to run. If he pairs it with lifestyle and damage ou are a gonner no matter how buffed your attack speed and damage is he cuts it in half. End game when he has damage, life steal,slow and turbo pills he's unstoppable. By far Leon is 10 times more op than clunks explosion, and I hate clunks explosion but at least you can run from that.

Considering that it's a team game, yes you can. And it shouldn't be a surprise that a character that specializes in 1v1 seems powerful by your metric.

Just because you personally can't avoid it doesn't make it impossible. Try jumping. Leon's control in mid air is sub par, and if he has the set of skills you listed, he doesn't have attack speed, meaning most of his jump attacks will miss. If you're just sitting in one place spamming your weapon, don't expect to do well.

Jump? Really? Last I checked Leon wasn't anchored to the ground he can jump as well continuing to slow you......not sure if trolling or just suggesting ridiculous things.

All it takes is one hit and they are slowed to a crawl for 3 sec. Doesnt need attack speed when it only takes one hit to root them.

I was under the impression his slow was 50% and with a 1s duration. It isn't an issue for me to escape it. It'a harder to deal with a full slow Bull that hits for 60% slow for 6s.

At any rate Bull is on cooldown whereas Electifier is not. If Electrifier had a procing timer perhaps it would be less an issue.

Either way it's getting nerfed.

@Shank - Leons Electrifier is by far the most dangerous move in the game. You get hit with it once, if the Leon isn't already half dead from some prior engagement, you run and hope that his swings don't hit. A nerf won't do. The quicker that thing is removed from the game the better. It's a straight up NPE, and that's why I don't touch it. I genuinely feel like I'm contributing to this game being worse a experience for people by using that power.

You can't fight it, and it's the ONLY power in the game where one swing immediately reduces you to the following:
A)Fleeing, straight back to home turf and safety
B)Relying on one of your team mates pulling you out
C)Relying on the opponent not being on point and screwing up their cuts.

And if you happen to be attacking their turret and get caught by it there's no saving you.

Comparing it to Clunks explosion is dumb.

Actually implying that Clunks explosion is better? Wow.

Also, Isaac is right, it's 50% for 1s. Which gives them a second to hit you again. It's essentially unlimited, free slowdown. Who thought that was a good idea again?

@Isaac - We both know things Froggy players say shouldn't count into any sort of discussion on the game. We don't all have mystical *imma end this fight now and theres nothing you can do about it kthxbai* buttons. =p
