I have seen this a couple of times on a couple of matches, some in my favor, most not. How do bots get so different level-wise for a team? I just played a 1v1 match against someone and their bots were level 36 and 31, and the guy was Leon with level 28. Meanwhile my team was level 27 and 24 and I was level 32 (also Leon). Why the heck was there such a difference?!

My opponent's bot that was level 36 was Lonestar and he crushed my bots all over the place and led the match in kills. My best bot was 1/9 KD ratio.

Am I doing something wrong? Why is there such a difference?

Thanks in advance

The bots are not all equal in skill as they're coded for their unique actions, and you have to consider that opposing bots may match better against your blend, or that you or your enemies might find it easier to win against certain bots, or vice versa.

E.g. playing as Yuri against a Froggy G and Leon bot seems often more difficult than playing against a Clunk and a Lonestar. With that, the Clunk bot in general is really dumb and super easy to kill. In contrast, Froggy G seems to be the most miraculously intelligent of the bots, splash dashing into tornadoes like an Awesomenauts veteran.

I find clunk, Froggy and lonestar bots the most effective. They can be so good sometimes.

Does that mean that what I said isn't true? I have an opinion.
