Is there any precise date to given, I'm tired of checking the forums to see if there is any news about the first patch and the characters that come with it.

Also, this may be a silly question, but I don't remember seeing the answer anywhere: When the new characters come out, will all their abilities be available or will you have to gradually unlock them like the rest of the characters? That will make a big difference for a lot of players.

That has already been answered, Romino has stated their abilities will gradually unlock just like other nauts, you will simply get two at once sometimes now. Also they have not determined an exact release date due to trying to make sure it comes out without need of further patching (I personally see further patching as inevitable, the new content is bound to have something with an edge) with the difficulty of releasing console patches, though they have stated they plan on releasing it as soon as possible. I must point out that this isn't a balance issue by the way, and probably should be in the basic section.

When you say no more patching, do you mean they arent going to update it past the next two champs or they just dont wanna have to keep releasing balance patches?

Because the first option would just suck, and the second isnt avoidable, players always find better, more OP comps that eventually have to get nerfed. On LoL a champ would be OP for months and nobody would realize it until 6 months down the road when a pro does it right and shows the world (Yorick, for example).

They just don't want to have to fix this balance patch with another balance patch, so they're trying to make sure they don't unbalance anything while balancing others.
