Backstory
Winner of the "Edge-Lord of the Galaxy" trophy 3560, Lome has made his name known around the galaxy as a powerful mercenary for hire, a supreme strategist and leader of the powerful "Omnituens Praeliator", a group of similarly powerful psychics who use their powers for the needs of whoever pays best.
Tragedy struck one day however, when the contractor for their latest assignment turned out to be no other than Lord Garfex, the tyrannical ruler of Sygox, and the Intergalactic Police Department, had led them into a trap to destroy the group due to the threat they could pose to the ruler and police if the group were hired by any radicalists or freedom fighters.
Lome was the only survivor of the trap. Distraught, he went into a deep depression, and hid for many years, his name passing only into whispers, his group ultimately being forgotten.
However, once the Awesomenauts had become established, Lome stepped out of the shadows and made his presence known once more, joining up with the new mercenary group to gain profits and to finally enact his revenge upon those who struck him down...


Primary Skill: Electra Blade
Using his powers to summon a powerful blade, this long-ranged blade can cleave through all those who stand in Lome's way, and leave a nasty sting afterwards. While Illusionary Barrier is active, this attack deals a 7.5% weaken which lasts for 1 second..

Damage: 90
Attack Speed: 230
Piercing: Yes
Can be aimed in all directions: Yes

Skill 1: Halt
Gathering his strength, Lome charges up a wave that damages all in its path, which ends when it hits an object or an enemy Awesomenaut. When an enemy Awesomenaut is hit, that 'naut and any enemy within the radius is stunned for a period of time. While Illusionary Barrier is active, Halt gains extra damage and uses up Illusionary Barrier.
Range: 3 - 10
Maximum Charge Time: 1 second
Damage: 100 - 400 (+100 when Illusionary Barrier is active)
Stun duration: 0.5 - 1.1 seconds
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Skill 2: Illusionary Barrier
Lome summons two oppositely rotating polyhedrons around him that pierce through everything, dealing damage and blinding enemies that are hit by them.
Range: 2.5
Damage: 80
Blind duration: 0.2 seconds
Duration: 5 seconds
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Another skill that has blind on base? Yuck. Vinnie is plenty, and Blind even on upgrades is too hard to deal with in general.

Lome has a certain... punch to him that I like—he sounds like he would be responsive and quick, instead of one of these with seven-year charge times and slow projectiles.

Electra Blade does very high DPS to a single target (345!) at base: considering that it is piercing, I would definitely reduce its damage by a fair margin, espeically considering it is a pseudoranged attack (granted one with short range).

Halt looks fine, although the damage at maximum charge might be a tad too high considering it also stuns for a long duration (compared to other stuns). You will want to clarify if the damage is also dealt in the AoE or if it is onlt the stun effect—if it is the latter, the damage might be okay to leave.

Illusionary Barrier's actual effect seems slightly boring: it is effectively Rage but with less power and a blind effect, although I like the synergy between it and Lome's other abilities. The weaken effect added to Electra Blade is quite weak (it is only an 8.1% increase in EHP against an enemy) considering that it also lasts for a mere second—if it stacked with each subsequent attack, and Halt dealt additional damage for each stack... ooh, synergy!

Cannot comment on nonexistent upgrades, but make sure they are creative—none of this +10% damage, +15% attack speed rubbish.
