The only MOBA I have played before Awesomenauts was League of Legends, but do other MOBA's have bounty rewards for killing an enemy on a kill streak?

Killing an enemy on kill streak is very rewarding, especially if it was a well coordinated effort by your team. And hopefully the bounty will scale up from regular killing spree to an increased amount for killing a legendary opponent. Ally team rewards could stay the same (25 solar), I'm not sure how else this sort of thing would effect gameplay, but something that would be worth looking into.

Update

Bounty is not rewarded if the enemy on a kill streak was killed by a droid or turret, but the kill streak bounty will not reset - in other words, that player cannot suicide to a turret to deny the enemy the bounty

This is completely different from the killstreak reward discussion. This poster is talking about how in other MOBA's when a player is on a long killstreak and are killed they typically give more gold upon death than usual.

I am wholeheartedly in support of this. Other MOBAs use it because it is a good mechanic. It promotes team work and can help rebalance a lopsided game. If my team can manage to take down the other teams (theoretically) best player, I'd say we deserve a chance to really capitalize on the advantage.

I think that this would be a go idea. This or at least having some notification that you iced someones kill streak. It does kinda do it for the player that dies witht he music falling out.

I agree. This would be nice little mechanic to have because killing a feed target is often very hard at times and should be rewarding to the other team.

Ah ok, I misunderstood then, thanks :)
(my game is on dutch, so when someone is on a kilstreak I see that he is on "dreef", a dutch word that's hardly used)
I think it is a good idea then yeah, but I would like to see that he has to be killed by a player, otherwise no bonus.
it could actually helps rebalance the level difference between players too, anyone on a killstreak has got their team pretty much solar.

Yes, the player on a kill streak must be killed by another player for the bounty to kick in... or in other words no bonus for a droid or turret kill :P

This could lead to people executing them selves to avoid giving the enemy team the bonus solar. Unless the bounty is on until the player is killed by another player.

Agreed. The bounty should not "reset" after a turret or droid kill.
