There is a player with 8, count them, 8 wins that is rank 4, how the eff does that work out. 100% win rate or not, it's ONLY 8 games.

It's about the points you get. If you win from people much higher ranked than you, then you get a lot of points. Those high ranked people who lost lose a lot of points.
That dude just got lucky that he battled a lot high ranked opponents and he won apparently.

does anyone know if you leave a game before the game ends that it would count as a loss or not?

Pff, that's unfair. Sorry I made a topic in the tech forum then, I thought it would be a bug that a dc is a loss. :/
I don't think many people will just cut off their internet just for not losing rankings, while I think more people will have some disconnects.

Do CRASHES count? My game just up and randomly crashed on me yesterday out of the blue, now, when I logged back in and played a game I didn't suffer any xp loss which I was at least glad for.
