how come all the rooms got reset? that part of the renewal? Never happened before.

A while back I let people know about our purge of the private channels, primarily due to the massive channel structure that was no longer really needed due to much lower player counts on the mumble. The appeal of all those rooms is only there when you have 25+ people all competing for a room of their own. In addition, previously we had many more teams who needed private rooms for tournament and other organized play as there really weren't that many great options for this.

Things are very different for the mumble at this point. As of now, I have no plans to reintroduce private team channels. Should there be an individual who wants to take the reigns in another direction, this is something that could be managed by a new owner/host. If not, it is likely the PUGrnauts will be taken down. Hope this answers your question.

Just seems the only reason I saw, and a lot of my friends too, of having it because we still had some private rooms there to hang out. Now I'm not using it at all...

I would agree. If you're getting rid of all of the private rooms you might as well move to discord. It offers better functionality and is free.

The only thing Mumble really has over it are the private channels.

Guess I'm still a bit nostalgic. I was using TS and Skype mostly but I have friends who I only speak to through mumble, guess we'll have to move :ayla:

There is a strong possibility the mumble will simply move addresses, and continue to exist under different leadership. I will be keeping the mumble open until its subscription expires a couple months from now. This will give people plenty of time to make note of the adjustment, and switch over to the new address. I will update the mumble itself with this address, in addition to this post to help everyone transition as easily as possible.

UPDATE: 4/3/16

Today I can share some information in regards to the upcoming move of the PUGrnauts host. The very last day cole.mumble.com will be open has been set for 5/14/2016. Below I will provide alternative connection information you can use to get connected to the new host, or utilize some new client options thanks to Yolvenzind and the NauTS crew.

This will also be the final update for this thread, and my last opportunity to again thank everyone who has been a part of the PUGrnauts over the last few years. I hope the Awesomenauts community continues to organize and find more ways to enjoy playing together for fun or competitively, and found more than my fair share of entertainment from this outstanding game and the people who play it.

Thanks guys!
