 Post subject: Crashing game at start

Hi, game crashes after save and play... any resolution i tried but don't work. Here is my application .

Hmm, surprisingly, this particular spot for a crash is completely new to me. It looks like the game somehow crashes when it tries to load the font (for drawing texts in the game).

I don't know a solution (yet), but could you try a couple of things and let me know whether they help?

1. In Steam, right click on the game, select "Properties", then "Local files" and then "Verify Integrity of Steam Cache". Does the game work after doing this?

2. Try running in windowed mode. This is not officially supported, but you can switch to windowed anyway by opening the file "Steam\steamapps\common\swords and soldiers\Data\Settings\Screen.settings" in Notepad and changing the line "fullscreen" to "notfullscreen". Does the game work in windowed mode?

3. Try deinstalling the game altogether and downloading it again. Does this help?
