Brought up in another thread, what do you think would make a good S&S TCG. With the help of a few online programs, this may actually become a (virtual) reality.

Looking for game mechanics rather than single cards (though anything would be fine), what do you think would work and what not?

I play mostly M:tG, but also a bit of Pokemon and Yugioh.

Anyway, it shouldn't be an exact copy of another game, or even based around it. You can take mechanics from a game, or create your own, but what do you think would make a good game for S&S?

I would have to go with the Pokèmon mechanics, because the Magic mechanics are way to difficult and have a too steep learning curve.

Maybe Ronimo is going to make an S&S Trading Card Game Video Game.

What will be cheaper? A Card game or a Card game video game?

I think a S&S TCG would be cool but I don't think it would happen (if not for a while, sorry).

Magic the Gathering's learning code is just fine, but some cards are WAY overpowered and the cheap 0 mana costs cards don't help even the game either (plus I got so many tokens using my elf deck, I used up all my quarters).

For newcomers the game really is to much.

I don't play the game anymore, there were to many cards, and I wanted them all. So in order to protect my wallet I stopped playing the game :)

Original mechanics would be better than a cheap knock of off a different game.

Personally I never found magic to difficult.
