hi everyone, i'm from south east asia and i wanted to ask what server we will be playing at. is it a us server or are there some sea based server? Even if there is a sea based server, is the community playing it large? If not, guess i must play at us server. So that would mean 200-300ms latency at its best. I'm wondering does that affect a lot in the game? Can any sea players looking at this thread give some comments about this game?

The game does not use dedicated server: one of the two players in the match is the server. It only uses Steam's server for matchmaking, not for the actual gameplay.

As for the number of players online: I don't think Swords & Soldiers is currently played online very much, but it also has a great single player campaign and if you have some friends who also play it, you can invite them to play online together.

ah cool, thanks for the information. swords and soldiers is the 3 v 3 gameplay right? just wanted to make sure whether there are any players hosting with a good latency so me and my friends won't lag like hell before i buy the game. I don't think any of them are actually interested in the campaign. just the the 3 v 3 matches.

Haha, I think you are mixing up games. Swords & Soldiers is an RTS game, the online is 1 vs 1. You are talking about Awesomenauts. Awesomenauts has plenty of online players.
