This has been a problem since they released the PS3 version so no surprise that it's prominent in the PC version too. In fact I'd say this kind of thing happens even more with PC games. Nothing you can do about it until Ronimo implements some kind of punishment for leavers. I eventually just dealt with it and kept playing, regardless of meeting this kind of player... most of the time, their departure registered as a win for me.

Why is nothing done about this guy? He drops 100% of the time against me when he loses, and he's got no. 1 on the leaderboard doing it. It's been confirmed by several people... devs?

This topic now exists since over three months, several players have confirmed that the number one ranked player of the ranking list "ESNAIDER_FLE" is intentionally and constantly crashing online matches so they dont get counted as a loss for him.
Considering that none of the developers even cares to post a reply to this topic (which concerns so many players!) I know for sure that i am NOT going to buy a follow-up version of S&S. Preventing abuse and game hacking should be the top priority when offering and selling games with online mode. If it is not, i can neither further recommend the game to friends (which i have so far done, even gifted a few copies via steam) nor support it in future.

It looks like ESNAIDER_FLE is finally no longer number 1 and out of the top ten now. Crimson Hawk is now number 1. I guess they finally answered our prayers and got rid of him. We deleted him from the Swords & Soldiers Steam leaderboards, but apparently playing a single online match put him back, including his old score. We need to work with Valve to get him out of there, I think.
