Overall I enjoyed the first de Blob game. There was a variety of play modes, collectibles, and great exploration. I think I made it halfway through de Blob 2 before giving up. I think the main thing I didn't like was that it felt like all the play-mode diversity was gone, the only diversity being a mode with the same gameplay but a 2D camera. Am I the only de Blob fan that chooses to give the sequel a pass?

I've seen my brother playing the heck out of that game. Both. The game concept slightly confuses me but still interesting.

I know it's been a while since this post was touched, so I'll make things short.

As awesome as de Blob 2 was, it didn't feel as good, because you had presumably played through the first already. I think this is because it didn't bring much new to the table, apart from 2D side scrolling. The thing is, de Blob 2 was better in my opinion, but you had to give it time. I finished #2 four months ago, but I bought it very close to release. It felt fresh again, compared to all the other stuff I was playing, and was obscenely full of content rather than just adding side missions like the first game.
