Actually, I'm a console player here saying that I can't wait for it. Just because people aren't declaring themselves console players doesn't mean they aren't and it doesn't mean we're not excited. This game is made for consoles. The developers have said so. You are sorely mistaken about the state of consoles if you think a great game like this will be DoA.

@defendmytempel
S&S2 with 2vs2, or even better two friends locally can get online to play vs other 2.

You can't speak for all the console players without having anything to back it up. I am getting awesomenauts on the console and the PC (if it comes out). Your argument is invalid just from that.

I think Awesomenauts is suppose to be a MOBA for the consoles.

Also if I had any skills for game design and what not, I would help (if they needed it) in a heartbeat to make a S&S2. I do hope we get a S&S2 in the future.

Hmmm so: I played LoL 3 month ago and i guess Awesomenauts is much better it just looks funnier. My opinion is: cause of 2D you are able to play it on consoles but that doesn`t eliminate a PC version.

And for S&S2: a friend and me created 2 new fractions (Romans, Inuits) and the idea of 2vs2 is really nice. Like in the Wiking-Campaign the Second Lvl where you have to help your friend :D. Or other 2vs2 idea: the same tempel but other fractions come out. Then you could split you - One goes on safe-spells and ranges, the other more on melees and atack-spells...Haha Wikings and Romans vs Chineses and Inuits. I guess this game have a lot capability and I hope you will work on it again Ronimo. I JUST WANT TO DEFEND MY TEMPEL AGAIN!!
AWWW and a PC-Version of Awesomenauts.

I'd love to see a PC version of this game, for sure. Although I'm not certain it can compete with League of Legends and it's counterparts, you'd definitely see a larger audience.

My only concern is if this results in the PC version ending up with more content/updates than the console versions.

Developers appear to have a much easier time working on the PC version of any game, at least in regards to not needing extra time for the console companies to evaluate and OK DLC for release.

Considering I was so excited for this game because it brings the MOBA genre to consoles, and from the time I've played this, makes it work, I just hope the console versions don't get left in the dust if a PC version comes out.

Especially if this game ends up with updates on the constant scale of, say, TF2. To say the console versions of that game are lacking in additional content is like saying water is wet.

If Awsomenauts shows up on Steam, I'll buy it.

I already have it on PSN, but I often buy both console and PC versions of games I really like :).

Oh, please dont forget the server list! The matchmaking system featured on most console games should have never been developed. Server lists are the way to go for PC games.

Not to disagree with a PC port, but as specified already and I'm sure everyone would agree: Awesomenauts can't compete with LoL/DOTA. Not only in content and gameplay, but in price, LoL/DOTA are free to play, this game is a $10 investment (with likely pay2play DLC).

So why exactly do you want them to bother porting to a system that they can't compete on, opposed to sticking to their niche; the console, where it can shine?
