Hello! (sorry for my bad english)
1) Will we be able to play four players locally in the next update / dlc? 2) Will we be able to play in two teams (red and blue) locally in the next update / dlc?
It would be great!
Thank you for your response!

dont think there will be 4 players, you need the mini map to play right.
as for playing 2 teams on 1 box, i dont know.

I support this the whole way. Local multiplayer is my life.

When there was no internet local multiplayer was cool (Golden Eye on N64) but what's the point now with internet? Specially for this kind of game, where your opponent can just look on your screen to see where you are.

It was never a problem for Goldeneye, we used to just split the screen off and sit real close so that one player could only see his half.
Uhh...
I don't think 'screen watching' is a game-breaking mechanic in this case and online multiplayer will never be better than local. What's the point now with internet? Well, there is a big reason I've been staying away from any Criterion release since Paradise, because there is no local multiplayer in any of them. Even Paradise sucked, that game was a mess, but me and my Dad used to spend a lot of time playing Burnout against each other, the only reason single player was ever started was to unlock stuff for multiplayer. The same goes for any fighting game, online is not even comparable to getting your friends together and beating the * into them. So you beat some stranger online, who cares? You don't know who they are, you don't know anything about them, why should you care that you beat them? So what? You could have been playing against a branch dangling through a window occasionally brushing the buttons.
Having a competitive game without local multiplayer is just ridiculous, you've already murdered it's life span. Hell, the only reason I played this game is because I read that I could play it with friends locally. I was really bummed when I found we couldn't change team though...
EDIT: Rant time!
So I see this a lot online, people put down the other people online who want local multiplayer saying that online is fine. Do a lot of gamers not have any friends? I'm really curious, I mean it seems the target demographic with online fps and Criterion games seems to be people without any friends. So you have three people over, what the hell are you going to do? Are they just going to watch you play COD with some strangers online? Now say you lived with two other people who were as much, if not more into games than you were. Would you ever even bother playing a single player game like this? I haven't. I mean, Elder Scrolls can be really funny at times (watching Eatsmoke run around with a hammer murdering strangers and shouting 'get back in the kitchen' while he's already in a kitchen is actually hilarious), but I guess RPG's and games that can be passed around are an exception.
You know what Jax? You're grounded, no tv until you come to your senses and play Goldeneye with us again. It's still more fun than COD. Yes, you can be Oddjob, as long as I get him next time.
I guess I want more options for local multiplayer. Me and the 4 maybe 5 other gamers with friends. Apparently. I'm sure you all have friends but I'm not sure Criterion/Dice/EA/Gamecompanyname believe we do.

I thought I saw someone mentioning a LAN party in these forums. It would take two consoles, but if you have 3 friends willing to come to your house and play, i would think at least one of them has a console as well.
