Couldn't you still kite Leon big time with your suggestion? Even if you only press it suddenly but aim back at him then let go and continue running away. The way it is now if you want to do something similar, your 'Naut will move toward him slightly allowing him the chance to catch up.

Only char i would like to shoot with right analog stick is yuri. It would probably help a lot. Or at least have "hold" studenten button for every char, and so you can stand still and aim. An in yuris case, you charge the beam while holding it to hide in a bush and unleash hell?:p

Keep in mind that this would have been a totally different game with that control scheme. It influences a lot more than just the way in which you shoot. Not being able to should backward makes chasing someone a very different thing, as does Yuri not being able to move while shooting.

I don't want to have backwards shooting in the game anyway.. Just imagine you are half health and you almost killed your enemy.. but while he is fleeing to his turret you know you won't make it, because and he can shoot on you, and his turret can.. Now it is possible to kill people then

Shooting forward while moving backwards hasn't really been part of mobas either
