So APPARENTLY "picking a character that I want to play because this guy is just dawdling on him and isn't going to lock him in" is "counterpicking" and I'm a "bad teammate" because of this. And apparently "sorry" just falls on dead ears now!

Seriously, why do people not just lock in their picks instead of just dwindling on them waiting for the countdown to end? I wanted to play Vinnie, didn't know there's a LAW for picking him when you're just going to stay on his hologram and not lock him in.

I sometimes do this because I'm waiting to see what my teammates pick to have a more balanced team comp.

They still treated me like I was bad for doing it just because they didn't act and was like "Oh, so I have permission to feed now?", acting like I knew they were staying on Vinnie and it wasn't free pick just because I wanted to play him and they weren't acting.

They also acted like Vinnie was the ONLY character to play as and I "stole him" from them, when they still didn't bother to react, kept staying on Vinnie and expected it random, wouldn't even do their own extra choice.

I am tired of playing with or against L1 pros. There are at least one in every match.

I am in L2 and i want a casual environment where i can have fun without exerting myself. That is not the case in the current state, so bye bye nauts. I ll come back in some months to see if something has been made in that regard.

You are questioning GuyBrush. Unless you value your sanity, I would advise rethinking this choice you've made.

In all seriousness GuyBrush, I know you like your memes but I'd advise against being so...controversial.

You're calling out Guybrush for being "controversial" when you're a clear sjw, and abuse your powers to lock topics that arent needed of a close, not closing down topics that have gone clear out of topic, and even not giving out warnings or explanations for locking of threads.
Yes you're a real saint compared to Guybrush lets have a round of applause for the work of Alpha Z everyone.

I do think mods should take more of a conservative stance to locking topics and do their jobs instead; that is, actually moderating tensions rather than just slamming down locks and ban-hammers. They're supposed to facilitate friendly community relations and discussions, and at least try to fix ones that aren't.

That being said, I'm still salty about the removal of ReplayIDs from topics; we report those to devs for tech support to report hackers, it's one of our jobs. An ID is not name shaming anyone, and watching it can see if there's an obvious hacker; there's also nothing in the forums CoC that specifies this, and it's not harassment in any way shape or form.

To be fair this entire thread is basically a big salt-pile outlet for the community, I would be surprised if it was locked :ayla: . It's a way for players to get things out of their system, it would be a shame at the very least.
