I think it's a really neat idea, especially for a stream. I don't know how many people would be interested from the playerbase, or if it would hinder the current devstreams in any way, but having a guest or two via face cam would be a lot of fun and get some different perspectives on various things Awesomenauts.



Here's how I see it...

Livestream show with guests from the community: Has to be face and voice both, no exceptions. You couldn't sell the show if the guests aren't willing to show themselves.

Livestream segment (not a whole show, but just short conversations on stream) with guests from the community: Just voice would be fine. That would be more like calling in to a radio station. Since no specific guest is the focus of the show, it's less important that they have a face.

Casual, non-streamed interaction: Face is good, only voice is really necessary. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate the opportunity to just have a dedicated line to the dev for a short while.

Casual text conversation: That's what the forums are. Like, you're talking to the dev with text right now. Why do it on Skype? :jimmy:



Personally I think having community guests on dev streams from time to time would be really cool. I'd definitely be down to join, face and voice. I just don't know how much I'd have to say about balance at the moment. I actually haven't been as involved with it of late as I have in the past.

This is a cool idea. I'd be glad to join up and do some conversation. I have no problem with web-cam, as I've done some before through the Omicast. I would fine with Call 1 (tomorrow). I was hoping to see you guys at Pax Prime this year anyways, so this may work out better in a different way.
