Now that Proun is out, I am going to post random hints and tips about the game here every day! :monkey:

Overview:
1: Several users on one controller
2: Making screenshots
3: Getting the soundtrack
4: Sharing ghosts
5: Ultra high graphics quality
6: Turning off the interface
7: Making ultra high resolution screenshots

Hint #1: Several users on one controller
You can play with more than one player on a single controller. For example, one player can use the left stick of an Xbox controller, while the other players uses the right stick. You can set the buttons in the Settings menu in the game.

Hint #2: Making screenshots
You can make screenshots by pressing Print Screen. Press a couple of times, though, because it sometimes doesn't make the screenshot immediately. The screenshot is saved in the folder where you installed the game (often c:\program files\Proun).

Hint #3: Getting the soundtrack
The soundtrack is included with the game! 8-) You can find it in the folder "Proun\Soundtrack". The .OGG files you find there can be played by many players, like for example Winamp.

Hint #4: Sharing ghosts
You can share ghosts with your friends by copying them. You can find the ghosts per track in folders like "Proun\Tracks\Track01". Ghost files have names like "Ghost_Easy_139.81_User_YourName.dat". Just copy these small files and your friends can play against your best times!

Hint #5: Ultra high graphics quality
You can force the game to Ultra high graphics settings by opening the file Data\CurrentSettings.dat in Notepad and setting graphicsQuality to "Ultra high". Note that this completely obliterates your framerate and that the difference is only visible on very high resolutions. Ultra high increases the quality of the depth of field blur, plus removes some subtle colour banding.

Hint #6: Turning off the interface
You can turn off the interface altogether by opening the file "Proun\Data\FreelyEditableSettings.dat" in Notepad and setting "hideOverlays" to "true". Less text, more graphics!

Hint #7: Making ultra high resolution screenshots
You can make ultra high resolution screenshots by pressing left shift + backspace + print screen at the same time. These screenshots are at a resolution of something like 4192x2620 pixels! Be warned, though: the files are enormous (around 32mb) and on some (older) videocards, this will instantly reboot your entire computer! Use this feature at your own risk! This feature combines nicely with the Ultra High graphics quality described above and can be used to create images for posters or something like that!

Also, if you add the game to Steam you can take screenshots through it.

for tip #7 where are these screenshots saved? I ask because normally you would just paste the screenshot into paint, however when i do this all i get is a blacked out screen pasted into paint (slightly larger then my original resolution 1600-900).
Or maybe its my graphics card? Geforce GT 435M, i am playing on a laptop.

Screenshots are saved to the Proun folder. Or, if you are running Windows 7 and installed Proun in your Program Files folder, they are saved to the Virtual Store folder of Proun.
