First off let me say that I just joined the forums so I apologize if I'm serving leftovers.
I feel that when I join a match online, and 2 characters are already selected then that will sway who I pick based on compatibility, ( for instance I'll pick Voltar when clunk is present almost always). What in your opinion are the character compatibilities? I feel Voltar - clunk, and froggy - Leon

Froggy is friend to ALL living things...that are the same color. A bit racist, I guess. But hey, he grew up in a rough area.

I think pretty much all the nauts compliment each other in one way or another.

I don't think it's really a matter of the characters being compatible but more of which of their skills really mesh well. Aside from Voltar/Clunk since that is the obvious Healer/Tank combo, the rest of the 'Nauts depend on skill combinations. Leon's tongue pull, Froggy G's stun dash, Clunk's snare bite are all great ways to set something up. Of course when it comes to Yuri and Voltar they are Support characters so it goes without saying that they can go well with anyone. As for Lonestar...well he's just Lonestar so i'll just leave it at that.

Lonestar goes well with both Voltar and Yuri as he can do a lot of damage quickly. Or Froggy G stuns and Lonestar dynamites. Those are the basics. He does quite well solo as long as he doesn't get too much stun and slow on him.

I can think about just about any compatibility with any team of awesomenauts. Its just a matter of communications between the players and their individual load outs.

The best (most fun) combo I've seen lately, Is a Time Warp Yuri teamed up with a Tongue grab Leon. Have Yuri pick up the speed boost to the warp, and Leon pick up the extra range to Tongue. Leon grabs someone and Yuri activates the Time warp, decimating the victim and stops them from running away. This works great when defending a Turret.
