Yeah, leon being able to jump from the front tower in sorona to the jungle without boots kinda defeats the purpose of his smaller jump compared to other characters

My guess is that for some reason teleport stores your momentum, it cant just reduce friction or you would just fly higher when holding teleport. What happens is that you get a big boost when you release teleport, even if you are falling downward at the time of release, the stored momentum from when you were ascending will push you back into the air.

yeah man, i didn't realize how broken it was untill i figured it out. seemed liked you can almost touch the pod dropper with froggy's boots.

LOL I would love to see a video of someone touching the pod dropper. Ive played with it a little bit though and while it definitely needs to be fixed it still seems take some skill to be utilized properly I personally can only pull it off less than half the time

its not even an issue anymore, i can get ridiculously high every time i jump. i try not to do it in front of players too much, as i don't want this game turning into a bunch of people floating around like fairies.

So the pros can use it exclusively?
The information is out there, the "glitch" is being used regardless if you tell someone or not.
I'd say it would be fair to have an even ground, so not only the pros can (ab)use the glitch.

Hold down jump and hit the teleport button as soon as you're in the air, let go when you lose momentum but hit teleport again immediately after and repeat. You should be about to get about 5 or 6 jumps out of it.

It'll probably be patched in the update. Which is a good thing.

It is fixed in the PC Beta, for all of those still wondering. That, or it is much harder to achieve.
