Should this be happening? When Coco put down Blaze and Froggy G tries to Splash Dash through it, he instantly slows down, but I'm not entirely sure if he starts taking damage before Splash Dash ends (I think he does).

Froggy isn't entirely CC-Immune during the Splash Dash. Try getting Dashed by another Frog with 2/2 Cubes. You're a sitting duck. Some snares still get through... and you will get caught up in Derpl Traps.
Admittedly being stuck in Blaze SUCKS. Especially when they start dancing around you such that it's easy to mash the hadoken for 70 damage. =/

Yes, as far as consistency for the game it should slow down splash-dash.
Leon's slow-blade and Yuri's time-bubble both slow down splash-dash, so it looks like you move about 2 inches, depending on level of slowness. Other slow effects, like Clunks, also effect this so it's fair game across the characters.

Okay, I was able to experiment with this the other day, and this is what is confusing me:
Say we have Points A, B and C. Point A is where Froggy G currently is, Point B is where the Blaze trial lies, and Point C is on the other side of Point B where there is no Blaze Trail. So as Froggy G, I splash-dashed through Point B (perpendicular to the Blaze trail) to end at Point C, which is actually quite far from the Blaze trail. When he splashes through the trail, the Blaze sparkles disappear entirely, but after his splash dash ends you see the blaze sparkles slowly appear on him (takes like 1 or 2 seconds) and he starts taking damage/is slowed down.
So it's the animation that is kind of confusing; the sparkles should have appeared on him and started slowing him down while he was still in splash-dash mode (as well as "attempting to do damage", though the splash would have shielded him from taking any). As it is, it appears as though the effects of Blaze (both slow and damage) are delayed until after the splash dash ends.
