Cash Container, Magnetic Piercing, and Solar Tree need some love though....they are all so worthless as it stands.
Anyway, back to Clunk:
As far as Bite builds go, do you guys find you get more mileage from 1/2 multi-hose or flat damage increase? wait free upgrades? what the heck is the point of that dude? Just change the game to include it at that point i mean no offense but thats a terrible idea! I use both solar upgrades and i notice a difference by mid match! I've played DoTA and league of legends and this is the best balanced out of the box game out of all 3! I agree with the money thing, that would just be great, or at least grealy lower the cost, because usually you barely make up for the purchase by the end of the match. I prefer multi or more damage, mostly because of the root snares multiple targets if you do, but if you dont get root i'd go damage Assanine is correct. I've tried running these "cash earning" upgrades and then without and there isn't much of a difference to warrant the use of any of them. Why waste a slot on Solar Tree when Boots are much better? Why even use Cash Container is I can use three better upgrades to my bite? I feel their values should be greatly lowered or be free.

What you pay is the opportunity cost of using it in place of something else. This opportunity cost is why things like regen and solar tree are terrible, they arent good enough to warrant taking them over the alternatives.

clunk is the * and im sure if most you monkeys have come across mine on the ps3 hes had your jaw dropped in awe or had you rage quitting like a sissy girl you need only one thing with clunk KILL KILL KILL let your team mates worry bout turret pushing and somehwhat all your clunk needs to do FOR YOUR TEAM is keep those enemys either running or dead if you think clunk sucks than it simply means your a bad clunk. what you guys need to consider is working in a team not trying to be a jack of alll trades with whoever your using. being a team game it is the teams that work best together that win the games i actualy like that most people thinks he sucks makes for alot of c o c k ey noobs to catch off their guard and punk out in a couple of quick seconds on the field

I've seen plenty of dumb Clunk's who think their impressive health makes them a big deal, but at the same time i've seen plenty of other dumb characters like a Voltar who never healed (who doesn't want extra solar?) or a Froggy G who thought his dash and tornado shield actually made him invincible...that is until he died. TL;DR Clunk might not be the best at any one area, but he's pretty damn good at just about everything. Clunk smash!!! i agree a clunk is only as strong as the player behind him though if you give him shorter expolde charge shorter cooldown and max damage on explode youll be pretty freckin scary in a 1v1 fight you know being able to spam 100 damage every 4 seconds

Clunk is good at heavily damaging crowds with his explosion, so he can counter a team rushing a turret easily if you upgrade it with damage, reduce self damage and slow.

i just cant believe this topic i must be one of the few good clunk players in existance like seriously would nobody agree that after he got nerfed voltar is the worst naut now? seriously poor bastard has nothing going for him anymore

First off. Solar tree is in every build I have. If you haven't figured out how to use this properly you should take a little time with it. Basically you have to to wait a little longer to get your build up and running but once you get going you will almost always be in the lead with solar unless some one is feeding the other team. Clunk is my go to if I want to be practically unstoppable. That might sound like a rediculouse statement but with tree,boots and piggy bank you use the bite to build your health and your able to snowball after that. My psn is Siljin and if you want to see it happen invite me to a match and we'll have a ball

For starters, you only break even when you get 5 minutes of game time... you'll gain significant Solar only after 15 minutes has progressed. Now... if you die. You get NO benefit of the Tree. This gets worse if you die frequently, or die later in the game. Not dying at all maximizes the benefit of the tree. Dying a lot eliminates the purpose of it, and furthermore makes the Solar completely wasted. Meanwhile, the 150 solar spent on the tree over another upgrade means enemies can get around to killing droids or 'Nauts a bit faster than you can. The concept of the Tree is nice, but the numbers do not favor it. If it were a free upgrade, it'd be better, if you at least gained 1 solar per tick even in death, it'd probably be a good deal more worthwhile than it's current form. Now there is one reason I could see the Cash Container and Solar Tree being used... Leveling Prestige. While the Solar consumed to get these upgrades is kind of wasted... and it takes a while to break even on them... your level gets inflated by quite a bit... as well as the end game Solar Totals. HOWEVER, since both upgrades are earned at far later levels... and you lose it the moment you Prestige up... the point is moot. =/

Code: I don't have hard numbers to back up my claims. I'm not even sure how much solar is acquired over time (I know solar tree is double). Is it 1 solar per 3 seconds? But I can say for sure that ever since I included it in my builds I have been able level significantly faster. That's why I say try it out for a while.
