I regularly write about how we develop games here at Ronimo, often with lots of details of how we made Awesomenauts. These posts are mainly aimed at game developers, but I guess some gamers might enjoy reading about these as well. Here is the latest blogpost: The skill design system in AwesomenautsEnjoy reading!

New blogpost! This time about the technical side of the upgrade system. Rather hardcore programming stuff, but might still be interesting if you wonder what a programmer actually does. The code of Awesomenauts' upgrade system

New blogpost! This time about how the art for the beautiful levels in Awesomenauts was created. It was a lot of work for our artists, but I think the levels look absolutely great (I'm a programmer at Ronimo, so I am not complimenting my own work here... ). How we made the Awesomenauts level art

Just wanted to hop in and say I absolutely love these posts. Beyond that the amount of transparency you guys conduct yourselves with is something that all devs should learn to follow. It's great to have all sorts of info, screens and videos stream out about the game and to see into your process. Keeps me invested in the game (as if its awesomeness wasn't enough, which it is).

Not sure if you were planning on doing this, but when new Awesomenauts come out, do you plan on announcing them, then deploying them, or keeping it secret through the entire process? I would love to see the creation of an Awesomenaut, from concept art to abilities to creation.
