I can typically do real well with any Awesomenaut, except Froggy G some reason. Even if I do good with him, I feel like I have to work way harder for the results than any other Awesomenauts.

Anyone know any good builds, and what order you get the beginning upgrades?

Right now I just max out stun duration as fast as possible and I run with a partner and just stun and double team people. Works well with a Leon.

I'd like to see a good dps build but I haven't really tried anything. Not sure if his gun is any good to be honest. Long stun + teammate + damage eating tornado = easy kills and decent early game.

Best build for Froggy G in my opinion is maxing out the dash. Equip the two cool down minimizers and the stun. With stun full and full cool down, you can stun enemies for 1.5 seconds and be ready to dash again after 3 seconds. You will be running circles around the other team. After that, I do shield tornado and increase speed of movement with tornado. It allows for quick getaways in emergencies. Finally I go for the explosion at the end of the tornado. This will give a little more advantage againt turrets and cores. Anything after that is just health upgrades or the pistol.

Thanks, my main problem was doing dash first, but the got the damage, and it just doesn't seem worth it.

I usually go with the dash stun and cooldown and Blaster damage and speed upgrades. You can do a lot of damage with the standard attack and stun and get around very quickly. But I still have to try to use the tornado more often.

From left to right:

dash, boots, tornado, tornado shield, max out dash+1 health.

Works pretty well with me so far.

I always go for the early tornado upgrade "cant touch this"(invulnerability) and maximum dash upgrades with damage stun and cool down.

if you do this you can just dash into a group of enemies and tornado away because they are stunned an you cannot be attacked.

after you have done that you should go with tornado damage speed for more dps when the enemy is stunned.

So you will be spending almost all of your money into your abilities and it really works for me

This is the build I've been going for Froggy G:

Piggy->Splash->Tornado->Ground Pound->Tornado Shield->+Stun Duration->+Splash Damage

Sometimes I get the ground pound before tornado. When you ground pound someone it does double damage. If you Splash/Tornado combo someone they'll most likely die or be forced to back in a single combo.

This build also wrecks Voltar pushes. Just ground pound/tornado on top of him and he will die.

I've played about 5-6 games with froggy G and played a ton of games against human opponents playing as him.

* Upgrade the stun ASAP...It's annoying to fight against , which means it's useful. Helps keep damaged enemies around that are trying to escape.

* The Tounge latch thing is pretty good for placing people in front of turrets.

* His gun is awful at first and he really is almost useless in the beginning.

I've noticed the movement upgrade makes a huge different in your ability to survive as it's just really annoying and difficult shooting at an enemy who is jumping around everywhere and dashing away.

* Dash is key. Key to killing and escaping.

* Did I mention he is amazing at taking out turrets with his tornado.

1v1 Froggy G is annoying and somewhat difficult to play against. I never fear him 1v1, but he always seems to do enough against me to pester me and disrupt a strategy.

* When it's froggy plus his pals then he becomes really deadly because his tornado can do a lot of dmg fast and to multiple people all the while shielding him from attack and then he can dash away which is also an attack.

* Not sure what to do with gun yet but I try to get some dmg and range in there just to make it somewhat effective. but his real use is with his specials.
