It seems more matched to the highest level person in the game prior to your showing up...or something like that.

It's neither, it's the average level of all the players.

Balance is great overall, I don't see why people keep asking for more characters when they don't even know how hard it is to balance such diverse characters and all the different skills. So, great job. There are few minor things; 1. I love playing as Froggy G, it's my favorite characters, but his Splash Dash makes him invincible which isn't right in my opinion. One time I saw an enemy Froggy G walking across the lower lane and when I jumped on the button to unleash the Kraken (or whatever the name of that monster is), he dashed forward and even though he was right above the monster his Dash made him invincible to kill. It shouldn't be like that. I've also dashed across the monster myself a few times like this. 2. The explosion ring of Clunk isn't right. Maybe it has something to do with lag or the ring-animation is showing something different than the range where you can get hit. I've died around 5 times already because even though I was outside his ring, it still damaged me. Take a look at this video, it clearly shows what I mean at 4:51 and especially 5:16; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKamNqQu ... e=youtu.be Voltar is outside the red ring but still gets damaged/killed by the explosion. I think it's a bit weird to open a thread like this, you'll notice obvious glitches / bugs right at the start but when it comes to balancing it takes a loooong time before you can be sure something isn't right. I've seen this happening in World of Warcraft, they were really great balancers (which was one of the reasons why the game was that good) and they just took their time. In my opinion, no character in Awesomenauts is overpowered. The only character which hasn't killed me so far is Yuri - for some reason I almost never see an enemy playing with Yuri or they're not really good with him. He might be underpowered a bit.

Actually, I mostly disagree with this sentiment. The only thing about Yuri that is underpowered is his aura skill, which noone seems to really use (mostly cause it's pretty sub-par). Yuri is actually really powerful if skilled up correctly and in the right hands; I've seen Yuris carpet an entire lane with mines so it was impossible to go anywhere without stepping on bombs. Additionally, he's a really strong turret supporter, able to stay behind the turret and laser enemies from afar. Why you haven't encountered any strong Yuris yet is actually easily explained - the character is incredibly odd in comparison to the other 5, and needs to be rather specific in how you build him. But if done right, Yuri is an absolute beast.

But if done right, Yuri is an absolute beast. I've been reading more info about him and it's indeed the only pure support character there is - you can't solo with Yuri. Sure, Voltar can also play support but he's also capable of going solo with the right build, Yuri actually isn't. I wasn't saying he IS underpowered because I can't say that without encountering any good Yuri-players. I just thought it was odd that I've encountered every other character a lot but Yuri seems missing out, that's all.

As said, odd or difficult playstyle means that these characters won't see the light often. It's really the same with any game that has harder to play characters. If I may draw a comparison to fighting games; technical characters (e.g. Crimson Viper in Street Fighter 4) are seldom seen because they are difficult to master and there's always the option of playing a character who is easier with the same results at first, however, once in the hands of a skilled player who knows the character, they are absolutely devastating and reward the time put into them quite well.
I would think the same applies to Yuri. The only thing I would change about him is his aura, it really seems underwhelming. Bomb carpeting entire lanes makes more than up for it, though, haha.
