1. Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?

Xbox

2. What happens exactly?

On one evening/night I lost connection to host on EVERY game I tried to play. It ranged from the load out screen to the time I finished shopping. I was not able to even meet an enemy. I tried it about 20 times: always the same. I then played some offline matches and tried later: same thing. I played lots of matches during the day, which all went fine (bless sundays :D ). It all started at maybe 10pm (GMT +1).
Yesterday the same thing started again, but I only tried 2-3 games (played enough that day anyway). It was the same time again, I think.

3. How often does this happen?

Twice

4. Is this with anyone, or with a particular other player?

Anyone, though I was thrown into the same game quite often.

5. Does your Party screen show a message that you have a limited connection type?

Nope.

6. Are you playing over wireless internet?

Wireless, but that never was a problem.

7. What range of pings does your in-game stats screen mention? This is the screen that opens when you press SELECT/BACK during a match. Do you see this increasing just before a disconnect?

Don't know. Will try to look into it if it happens again.

8. Does rebooting your console and router help?

Nope. Tried both, didn't change anything.

9. Is someone else downloading on the same internet connection at the same time?

Not in the afore mentioned cases. Though I am not able to play any games, while my girlfriend is streaming videos. I don't remember this beeing a problem with other games. Tried to play via LAN when she watched movies wich didn't change anything.

My guess is that it has something to do with the time. I will keep an eye open if this is the case.

Update: It doesn't seem to be time related. Infact it never happend again. I'm at roughly 25 h of playtime and except for these two incidents no major networking issues appeared. Good work on the netcode.

1. Xbox 360 or Playstation 3?
Xbox 360

2. What happens exactly?
booted from game due to network issues

3. How often does this happen?
I am usually able to get at least an hour's worth of actual game time, then it repeatedly boots me.

4. Is this with anyone, or with a particular other player?
Anyone

5. Does your Party screen show a message that you have a limited connection type?-
No

6. Are you playing over wireless internet?
No

7. What range of pings does your in-game stats screen mention? This is the screen that opens when you press SELECT/BACK during a match. Do you see this increasing just before a disconnect?
Unsure as to whether there is an increase in ping right before disconnect, as it is usually unpredictable. Ping for other player never higher than 180, except for once.

8. Does rebooting your console and router help?
No

9. Is someone else downloading on the same internet connection at the same time?
No

This issue has become increasingly frustrating. Sometimes I make it into the game, buy my first upgrade, and as soon as I get into a firefight I lose connection. Other times I can't even get to the ground while drop podding before I lose connection. NAT type is open, network tests at a consistent 12mbps or more down, 2mbps up.

1.) Xbox 360
2.) Booted from game after about 2 minutes of play. says network error, please test connection. The connection is fine, and other online games work fine.
3.) It's happened about 15 times in the last two days. IT seems to happen the most when I join an online game through "xbox live match" instead of "quick match"
4.)Anyone
5.)No
6.)No, wired.
7.)If I read it right, the other players pings were around 250 mine was at 0. I don't think I was reading it right though.
8.)No.
10.)browsing internet, but nothing more strenuous than tumblr.

1. Xbox 360.

2. Everyone will be dropped from the game, except for me, and sometimes my party member.

3. Occurs every 8-10 games.

4. Seems to be everyone. Sometimes my party is kicked, sometimes they aren't. Seems kind of random in that regard.

5. No.

6. No.

7. Usually, it's in the 90's - 150's. It has also occurred with players in the 200's. Doesn't seem to correlate, honestly.

8. Rebooting the console doesn't seem to effect it.

9. No, just idle internet traffic.

Thanks for giving us all these reports, folks! So far we are under the impression that we are simply more strict than other games in what kind of connections we allow, so we are going to loosen up on the bad-connection kicking a bit. We haven't found any structural mistakes in the network code so far that might cause these disconnects, so we expect just making the game less strict would help a lot.
