I'm sorry to hear that. I remember when my dog died when I was little. Was a pretty bad day. Just gotta remember the good times, though!

Just remember that however long (or short) his life was, I'm sure you made it a better life for him, and that he was lucky to have you for his human subordinate (because let's face it, cat's own us).

My cat, Da Vinci, is an old cat. He always tries to lay down as far up on your chest as possible and drool onto your neck. Then when you try to get him off he gets stuck because he doesn't know how to retract his claws. When you move him, he thinks you made a mistake and tries to climb back on. Even when you put him on the floor he comes right back. Once you give in, cuz you really have no choice, and he settles below your chest, you remember how uncomfortable he lays on you. Boney, light and floppy. It's really awful. He is a handsome cat though and the girls fall in love with him instantly, I'll give him that. Why did your cat dying make me want to post this. Hmmm......
