We passed certification! :worship: I have just sent an email to Sony to discuss the release date. Once I know more you guys will be the first to know!

We went into QA yesterday for Sony America. We already have green light for Sony Europe, so things are looking very good. QA takes about a week. After that we need to confirm with Sony a release date, which should not take too long. Hang in there!

In the past few weeks we have gone through several QA rounds at Sony to get the certification for the game to release on PS4. Unfortunately we have run into a very nasty bug that we just can't seem to reproduce, which we need to do in order to be able to fix it and pass Sony's certification. At the moment we are working closely with Sony to try to find it and fix it as soon as possible. Nevertheless this mean little bugger is preventing us from launching this year. :(

Best case scenario is that we will be able to find it this week and fix it, this will mean we will have to make another QA pass and will possibly release somewhere in the first few weeks of January. We are very sorry to again postpone the launch and you can imagine how infuriating it is for the team here and at Abstraction Games that only one nasty bug is preventing us from launching this year.

As soon as we have found the bug and fixed it I will let you know and I will keep you posted on any progress we make.

This is why you should never set a release date for a game so early. If you have to delay it, the community will get angry in result. Take Nintendo for example. Animal Crossing New Leaf had a set releasedate too early on and the game was delayed like fifty times. Of course this resulted in the community getting really agitated.

Not that I care though, I don't even have a PS4 and don't plan on buying one.

Come on, at least the brand will be remembered :lolstar:

There's a lot of appeal to being a launch title on a new system. Fat princess was a little indie game that got very popular because it launched early on the PS3. I can see why they pushed to get it out early.

This all being said I'm super excited for this on PS4. The broken version on PS3 is still fun, I can't imagine how A:A is going to dominate my free time...

Thanks for the update Fabian! We shall wait patiently for your updates…

Dude, relax...

However, it would be nice to get some new details to chew on while we wait. :chew:
maybe like:
- Will skins be available for DL/purchase?
- Will leagues exist on PS4?
- Will we get map updates for seasons (Halloween, xmas, ect)?
- Any other stuff that was specific to the PC version?

For curiosity's sake, can the community know what said glitch was?
