Id like to thank everybody that hasn't given up on consoles, who continue playing; despite the $hotgun Frog. Everyone who regularly updated this sub thread, all Balance & Tactics - PS3/360-ers.

That's you people:

MemorMe31
Baconbits
FishmanDerp
XJoerachiX
mr_bonejangles
Ame

And a few more who are less frequent. No matter.
keep up the great work. You guys are awesome! (theme music starts playing)

thanks. i haven't been playing as much as i used to. maybe 2-3 times a week if that, and not for very long. i used to add a 1,000 kills to my sig like weekly, now i dunno if i'll ever hit 26k. But, nonetheless i still check out the forums almost daily.

i was wondering the other day, in GoME, they can change small things like the damage skills do without doing a patch. why can't awesomenauts do this?, and just drop froggy's damage a bit? i guess GoME has a different system in place.

GoME's updates are cloud-based, which helps them bypass Sony and MS certification. How it does that I don't know the details but that's what an article claimed. Seems to work out well for them.

What's dtp Entertainment's current situation btw? Are they still hanging on? This is actually the first time I heard of cloud-based updates for the consoles. How does it work?

This has been discussed before, but I still think there will be one huge console patch update in the future. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I have a sneaky feeling the developers haven't completely left the consoles and I think in the back of their minds they still want to reward the PS3 and XBox fanbase.

However, that's not the reason why I still play the game. The current game is still great fun to play (even though I haven't been playing as much as I used to), and I'm actually experimenting with different (unusual) builds, trying out characters I usually never select, like Froggy G and Clunk.

Magikarp have been playing a lot of Randomnauts.
Using rng to pick our skills, and characters, and see how we do in a tight situation! Loads of fun, not great for your ankings, however

why would they patch now? so much work and money for an active population of like 50 a day tops. they would sooner make a new game.
