As Aki said, I have learnt how to edit maps! I decided it would be fun to challenge myself and see if I could do all the visuals, programming, designing and music by myself. I also did an animation for both the background and platforms to make the squares move diagonally and the stars in the background twinkle, but that will be programmed later.

Here is the result. I present to you... Alpha Abyss!

Hey.
It's me, the music guy.

So, I noticed my soundcloud having outdated tracks so I fixed a couple of those.

The Starstorm

Aiguillon

These are a couple of updated songs. Starstorm got a whole new Sentry part and Aiguillon didn't really get a lot of things but it bothered me anyway.

Now let's get to the new tracks.

Okeanos

Originally had a piano but someone thought 8-bit sounds had to be there. :tear:

AI Station 404

Personal favourite of mine.

AI Station 205

Kinda sounds like people starting their engines. Completely different direction compared to 404.
Oh also, AI Station 205 is probably going to be really annoying to fight on with the incineration device :scoop:
But that's just my opinion.

Here's a really dodgy form of AI Station 404 that I made using BurningDillo's sprites. It'll look glorious once the background is doneskis. I gotta say that the music fits it pretty well too.

    2017 - February

It is time for February Post!

This time I have a new release for you: download.

Changelog:
- fixed one-pixel floating character bug,
- fixed settings saving and loading,
- fixed settings changing with gamepads present,
- fixed a lot of shapes of platforms in most maps,
- fixed a crash that could occur in certain condition when switching from match to menu,
- added new bugs,
- added animations to platforms and decorations,
- added new sound effects from original game,
- added randomly selected character,
- added display of old keys when changing key scheme,
- added new hit mechanics,
- added new playable maps,
- added artwork to Rill map,
- cleared-up some of the spritesheets,
- revised music.
Probably more, I should write better commit messages and not write changelog when writing this posts...

Todo:
Todo-list is still full of things! I won't post it here, because it would be pain. It is available on our Discord "server", so if you are interested then feel free to join (link in the first post and on the bottom of this post).

While todo-list is still pretty long, especially for me, we (I) try to filter most of stuff to keep it as short as possible. But this isn't the only way I try to shorten it. I have successfully added/fixed/changed/revised things listed in todo list and I will try to keep working. So... What now? We already had few polish-only releases, so I guess we should make something more exciting. I will try to accomplish it, but to make it possible, and I'm talking about computer-controlled players and online multiplayer, for both of them I still have several things I need to change inside the code. There are parts that I wrote, thinking that I will just finish when it will be Roflnauts clone with new characters, and there are parts that were made "oh-great-it-works-let-s-leave-it-I-will-never-need-it-anyway"-way. They need to be changed.

Tl;dr (and clearing up):
I will try to head directly into online multiplayer development but I still have parts that need to be revised in order to get it working.
Camera system and map hazards are secondary for now to me, because they would be changed at least a little bit after mp would be developed. Other small fixes or features may be made just because why not.
