New list of glitches & issues

Note: This list will no longer be updated and I will report no more glitches as long as the "permanent chat ban" is imposed on my account at https://steamcommunity.com/id/noob_nauts/ . More information can be found here.

These bugs/issues are assumed to be in patch 4.7.1
Red means they are serious or have game-changing potential
Orange means they are somewhat serious
Yellow means they are rather negligible or only of graphical nature

I might update this list as new patches come out.
If you want to report a mistake with this list, report a bug that was fixed, suggest a new bug to be added or give feedback, please post in this thread.



No rejump glitch

Inconsistent Jump Height bug

Certain characters can sometimes barely jump onto a platform, sometimes they can't. It seems to depend on your framerate, and it adds a huge element of luck to the game.


Derpl Nuke glitch

Skolldir cannot auto-attack after being cocooned

When Skolldir is using auto-attack and gets cocooned at a specific timing, he may be rendered unable to auto-attack again. This wears off when using a skill. It may or may not wear off when teleporting.


Cannot rejump when hanging on Swiggins' chain

Sentry Decoy doesn't spawn

Froggy Tornado glitch

Gnaw's Spit does not apply damage

Smiles Skill Aiming Visual bug

Sentry Beacon Clip

Snork Gunk has debuff immunity when using Sticky Snail

Penny charge bar bug

Froggy's RBAY doesn't work

The 'Right Back At Ya' upgrade on Froggy often doesn't work, due to being dependent on whether or not tornado was active on the enemy player's screen.


Starstorm Teleporter nullifies damage and health

When moving through the teleporter on the Starstorm map, you are proof to damage for 1 frame. But you can also not receive healthpacks during that frame. Notably, you can survive Chucho's sticky bomb if you move into the teleporter at the right time. And you sometimes can miss a creep health pack if you move in at a bad time. This aspect of the teleporter seems unintentional.


Obtaining match results takes 2 minutes

Sometimes the game will tell that it takes longer than usual to get the match results. It will attempt to collect it for 2 minutes, and the user doesn't have the option to skip this screen, preventing them from playing the next match sooner.


Stun glitch

An enemy's skill will not be canceled despite being stunned. This is most noticeable with Yoolip's gaze and Ix' bond. Not considered a glitch by some players.


Lonestar's Bull does no "Techno viking helmet" damage

Lonestar's bull does no damage despite pushing against an enemy. This happens especially if the bull is increased in size (Super breed 2.0).


Nibbs "Demonic Animal necklace" upgrade does not work

The "Demonic Animal necklace" upgrade does not apply the 2 sec cooldown reduction properly.


Nibbs "Eternal Flame" bug

The "Eternal Flame" upgrade normally allows for 3 fireballs to appear after a short delay when Nibbs uses fire breath. Due to a bug, the recent patch allows for 4 fireballs without any delay.

Gnome/Timerift/Sticky Bomb drops through platforms
When a gnome, timerift or sticky bomb is thrown at a place where a platform and solid wall align, it may fall through the platform.


Wall momentum bug

Dizzy invisibility bug

Ted "Double RPG" bug

The "Double RPG" upgrade sometimes does not apply.
After using both airstrikes, the skill will normally go on cooldown with 2 airstrikes previewed in the icon. Due to the bug, there is a chance it will only preview 1 airstrike. Thus, next time you are supposed to be able to fire 2 airstrikes, you can only fire 1.


Qi'Tara Chakram bug

Qi'Tara cannot teleport to a player who has a debuff immunity shield.


Swiggins' Chain bug
In specific situations, a chained enemy can move away from the dropped anchor despite still being chained to it.


Sticky Bomb "Trick-Up-Your-Sleeve" Bug
When Sticky Bomb with the "Trick-Up-Your-Sleeve" upgrade is attached to a player, the second bomb will become attached to the same player immediately if he is currently inside a teamwall or turret.


Camera scrolling bug

The camera fails to keep up with the player. The most notable example of this happening is when Ix bonds and teleports with the player right after the player passes through a teleporter on Starstorm.


Ted Stimpack Cooldown bugs

Bug 1:
If you hold the key to use Airstrike and switch to Shotgun, Stimpack will go on a fake cooldown. You can still use Stimpack while it is on fake cooldown and if you do, the cooldown will not be reset.
Bug 2:
If you use Stimpack and switch to Machine gun in quick succession, either Stimpack will be used without going on cooldown or Stimpack will not be used but go on fake cooldown.


Skolldir Gnome explodes after falling too far

Snork Gunk (Clown Skin) audio bug

Snork Gunk Skill Aiming Visual bug

Tutorial Shop bug

Hidden minigame can be dragged onto menu buttons/offscreen

When the hidden minigame (which can be accessed by queuing and then clicking a tiny button above your Awesomepoints total) is shown but not currently running, you can drag it around with your mouse cursor. You can also drag it offscreen or onto the top menu bar. If placed offscreen, it cannot be dragged back onscreen. It requires installing the game anew to access the minigame again.


Unreadable text when queuing while in replay mode

The green text that tells how much time until the match starts is too small.


Healthpack inside Starstorm portal

Invisibility cloud doesn't turn you invisible

If you are Vinnie with invisiblity on smoke screen and use it while touching a bouncer, the cloud will not turn you invisible since you are moving too fast. This seems unintentional.


Black lines in background in tutorial 2 / Try level

999 ping

Cooldown circle resets itself

At seemingly random times, the cooldown circle graphic - that shows in the bottom skill dock behind a used skill - will reset. That means it will start going around in a circle anew.


Wrong teammate DoT

When a teammate arrives in the healing area with a DoT-infected health bar, the DoT part of the healthbar will not go away right away.


"Try" level, turret bullets don't reach

In the try level, shots from turrets cannot reach you if you are standing on the adjacent glass platform. Not considered a bug by some players.


Practice mode, settings error

Name color abuse

By using strings such as "[COLOUR: menucolourBlack]" or "[TEAMCOLOUR:2]" in your name, you can cause text to be shown in a different color. This includes chat messages and leaderboard entries and can cause leaderboard name entries to not be shown at all one page at a time.


Leaderboard doesn't load names

When opening the leaderboards, half the names will be shown as "[unknown]". This fixes itself after scrolling forth and back, making it load a new section and then the previous section again.


Replay mode, projectiles aren't angled

In the replay mode, some projectiles are not shown to be angled and will instead be shown to travel completely horizontally. Also, Derpl in siege mode will always be shown firing horizontally.


Replay mode, doesn't show "Deflect" text

When Skolldir has the deflect upgrade on auto-attack, it will show a yellow text "deflect". This text does not show in the replay mode.

Ancient list of glitches & issues

  • Link (page size ~20 MB)
  • This list was created after patch 2.2 (or so) and was discontinued after patch 2.11.
  • Please note that this list is outdated (August 2015) and the explanations on the glitches/issues are based on my personal opinions. This list is only preserved for curiosity's sake and changes suggested to the list will now be ignored.

Since the time I made this topic I have made new entries:
-Wall Leaning Glitch
-The Last Pieridae Transformae Glitch
-Raelynn Snipe while teleporting
-Ayla Evil Eye while Rage
-Ted Machinegun Graphical Glitch
-4 vs 3 Glitch
-Summoning objects past the enemy barrier
-Solar piece inconsistency between players
-Glitched Join
-Timerift loop

This entry was fixed in patch 2.8:

Changed:
- Froggy G Splashdash Cancel Glitch: This happens with Penny's Pounce too so changed info.
- Destroyed Match Glitch: This glitch used to happen only once every few months or so. Since 2.7/2.8, this glitch happens about 3 times a day. So I changed the frequency info to "common".

Added:
- Character Select Screen glitches (which are glitches relating to changing the selected character or leaving the character select screen after the game already decided a random character)

Fixed:
- Healthpack icons are wrong on AI station 205's minimap

Are you sure that's not an issue with your keyboard? I've encountered sub-optimal register rates for certain keys before, and it's usually resolved by updating the drivers.

I don't think it's an issue with my keyboard. I can write up text perfectly fine outside of the game. But inside the game, I would type lines like "nice snie" or "shut u" instead of "nice snipe" or "shut up". If it's a driver related problem, I don't really know what to do about it.

Added:
- Objects falling through platforms (Thrown timerifts, gnomes, spit...)
- Wormtrap abuse (Sorona worm can be used to destroy red droids while leaving blue ones)
- More weedlings than possible (if Gnaw dies by "nothing", although this is not really a problem anymore now. According to Dennis, this problem has been logged by the dev team but probably won't be looked at due to the timelimit on weedlings)
- Not losing invisibility
- Silent music (After an error message pops up, background music goes silent)
- Can't quit lobby screen (which sometimes can be a hindrance)

Removed:
- Duplicate entry for Ted's Airstirke launcher pushes you
- Timerift loop (FIXED, multiple timerifts no longer affect each other)
- Platform glitch (seems FIXED)

Changed:
- 4vs3 glitch, added a link to a forum topic for a 5vs3 occurence
- Multiple hit glitch, added videos


It's not 100% confirmed yet, but 2.9 seems to mark the patch where the dreaded Platform dropability glitch (not to be confused with the platform quickdrop glitch) was fixed. This fix happened after players complained about being stuck when a totem overlapped a platform. I went through the spots in this video and the platform bug doesn't happen anymore.

- Clunk Double Fate Pete Glitch

Changed:
- Quick Fall Glitch, changed Frequency from common to rare because I haven't seen this lately.
- Aiguillon Map Design, forum topic added
- Latejoining, fourth forum topic added
- Joining lost games, slightly rephrased the description

Fixed:
- Reporting Players for language, fixed by profanity filter I guess..
- Ai station 205 Fire hazard, removed because of lack of significance
- Ai station 205 platform glitch, fixed
- Games that drop early should be restarted automatically, removed because it was more wishful thinking than an actual problem.. This doesn't fit in a list where the focus is on glitches and problems.
- Scoop's Hammer hitbox, removed because of lack of significance. If the hitbox was changed at any time, I didn't even notice it...

Added "Lag when music changes" entry.

I still don't bother rewriting entries or updating "Last seen" info. I have made my points clear enough.
