The game is an unplayable stutter as of the last update. And no, it's not my internet as the menu is stuttering too. Worked perfectly fine before, so my hardware can handle it. All settings result in this.

Can confirm, it is choppier than before. Though it is not noticeable on the menu for me.

It's been choppy since 4.7 and I feel like I have much less control over my movement and actions. I hope this will get fixed soon.

It is highly likely that Steam's new update ruined the framerate for me. Steamwebhelper.exe is draining a lot of performance. This helps suspending steamwebhelper.exe instances: https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments ... reventing/There are now no more stutters and FPS improved by 10-15 for me

I still get stutter lag sometimes. I think it is related to the host ping. If it is high (200+) it will cause my framerate to decrease for some reason. I didn't notice this stutter lag with low ping hosts.

Hey kolton and mugg, I'll try to diagnose this issue as well, but feel free to include logs to Ronma if y'all haven't done so already. Most of the logs should include specific hardware, and with enough data there may be a commonality even if errors aren't logged directly to it. As always, thank you !

Framerate is again pretty bad for no reason. Please feel free to send me a custom exe that spits out more log data or something (like Joost did at one point?).

I can confirm this framerate drop, too. I have lost about 40% of my frames. From 100-120 fps to 50-70 fps (Same hardware, same settings). Tested on Windows and MacOS, problem exists on both platforms. Pretty sad, I really hope for a technical/optimization update.

Hey all, I've tried to test this and replicate the issue on multiple machines I own, but I couldn't get it to work; it would be a lot easier to diagnose if we had more in-depth logs yes, but maybe there's something common about these system setups that's causing this? I'll let someone at ronma know about this since performance issues are always higher priority than small bugs, thanks. If y'all could include any additional information at all that you might think would be helpful, please feel free to do so as well !
