Walkie Talkie has to be replaced because having an upgrade that does increased damage when using an easy to use ability like his hook PLUS having a stun upgrade that makes it do even more damage is really stretching it.

Didn't Qi'tara have an upgrade synergy like this? And wasn't it removed because it was a bad idea?

can we talk about the fact that they rotate clockwise regardless of which team you are on? meaning red sponk can hit an enemy hiding in the enemy turret (at floor level) and blue spork cant

EDIT: A separate thread that's been merged with this one. I was wondering when (and why) I'd started talking about Fenix in the middle of that maths... uh, dilemma.

regarding shells disappearing when they hit structures:

If the interaction is going to be changed, i'd like to cast my vote for them to damage the structure instead of pierce it. i think if it pierces, he will be very overbearing. Also, pushing with him is actually a pretty interesting situation right now, because he can't be super aggressive if a defender is there. It's in his interest to bait them to come out and it's in the defenders interest to try to bait him to waste his grapple near the turret. i think if you remove piercing, that entire mind game will go away.

also what i mentioned about a particle effect for his jump:

I dont' think that will actually cut it. it would be nice to gain some insight on the actual mechanics here. it feels like a fuel guage where each tap of the jump button consumes a chunk of fuel and each tick you're holding jump consumes a small amount of fuel. I could be wrong here. But if i'm right, perhaps a meter showing how much juice is left would be appropriate? having vfx express this would be ideal, but what's actually going on under the hood seems a bit more complex

nope, it's not clunk's jump at all dood. play with snork more.

with clunk, if you hold the jump button down, he maxes his jump out at some point and falls. pressing jump again does nothing.

with snork, if you hold the jump button down, he maxes his jump out and falls, but if you hold jump down again he -seems- to get a whole second jump. If you just tap jump repeatedly, he gets 9 mini jumps. if you hold the jump button down to it's first peak, then start tapping, he basically gets 1 big jump and 8 mini jumps. not like clunk at all.

so far i think the way to get the most height with him is to max out your first jump and do 8 mini jumps after that.
