Good point. DSR will be kept tho, it essentially is in place to make sure teams stop picking the same map, and once they have won on a map they have to pick a different one next time they choose one.

Of course if it is a 3-0 wipe it could well be the same map for all 3 games, though that is the only situation where this would happen. In which case map picking wasn't giving them any advantage.

I personally think it makes sense to have both as the losing team will still be able to choose from 2 if not 3 maps, but I see your point.

Also your avatar is my favey in game item :3

I think blind picks are kind of silly - especially in a full solar game.

Aaaaaw, sorry to hear that :(

But srsly we'll see how it goes, first time a hybrid of draft and blind picks have been done in nauts and I think it'll add a bit of flare :thumb:

Whats wrong with the last pick being blind? I don't understand. The only difference is you don't know what the last pick was till youre in the dropppod rather than in the lobby.

The rest of the drafting is done sequentially, i.e. team 1 picks then team 2. You're right that the last last pick doesn't really matter that much, but the second last does indeed.

Team 1 picks 1, team 2 picks 2, team 1 picks 1. Then they both pick 1 blind.

Drafting seems fine to me :/

Think the blind last pick is a neat idea, doesn't change too much in the drafting but can add a bit of surprise :thumb:

Just a reminder that sign ups for FST closes at the end of this Friday! If you were planning on signing up, now's the time!

Here's a look at the brackets with the schedule:

Week 1 starts Sunday 28th June
Week 2 starts Sunday 5th July
Week 3 starts Sunday 12th July
Week 4 starts Sunday 19th July

The brackets will be posted over the weekend.

Due to lack of interest from the lower League teams, all sign ups (for both NA/EU and SA brackets) will be merged into a single bracket (1 for NA/EU, 1 for SA).

10 teams will enter into the NA/EU bracket.

SA bracket still open for sign ups! Will close when it has reached 8 teams.

Prize pools remain the same for the main brackets - the closed brackets funding will go into providing give-aways for the streams.

Streaming details will be released over the weekend!

What the playing teams will need to do will be posted here and sent to the captains' email addresses over the weekend, so keep your eyes pealed.

Games will begin as soon as AAC ends on Sunday.

You will have a week to play either 1 or 2 matches, depending on where you are in the bracket.

Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!
