Hm... could you spawn a Derpl, make it place the snare trap immediately, then quickly remove the Derpl again to simulate such?

Nah... That's not worth it...


Also, I'm sorry JazMaster, I'm not sure I understand it.
What I understood:
- A beacon spawns weedligns.
- The weedlings can react to commands.
After that I didn't understand more.

Yes the beacon spawns weedlings, they can react to comands and a tower beacon replaces the weedling you pressed the command on and the other weedlings dissapear. You would make more than one beacon so the game won't have to handle aprox. 100 weedlings at once. You could also use your idea of being able to buy more beacons

So the beacon spawns a lot of weedlings, that will react to a command and turn into a tower-beacon...

It's an idea... But I fear it's going to be too confusing.

I was afraid of that too. What about making a naut follow you and turn into a beacon after x-seconds like derpl tower in the other TD but im afraid that you already tried that cause it's kinda obvious

I also thought about 1 time use/cooldown abilities, for instance: an airstrike array, with stun preferably, to nearly wipe a wave, or a totem to hold enemies off for a little bit (while lonestar destroyes them all) or a group of weedlings which would despawn after 30 seconds anyway or just a bull. Got these ideas from the misunderstandings earlier.
My mouth has turned into a typewriter at this point. I hope you don't have a problem with that. I'm just sharing my ideas :) .

Wow, this is really cool! :worship:

Seeing how much you can already achieve with the limited tools that are around now makes me realize once more how much cool stuff could be done if we made modding much more flexible. :GnawShock:
