Patches are automatically downloaded on Steam. :)

Found a bug.

I like that in the PC version you can edit the settings. Just for fun I messed with some of the settings to make the first level really hard, then really easy, just to see what was possible with a few tweaks.

The game smartly noticed the changes, informed me, and told me I wouldn't be allowed to play online. This makes sense and I have no beef with it; thank you for insuring no one online has made their units super cheap / super strong.

Bug: you can play online anyway.

I'd already played through the Viking Campaign on WiiWare and wanted to get to the better campaigns, so I cranked down the build cost and cooldown on some viking units to make the first few levels go faster. After a few levels the game told me I should "try playing online," which I ignored, expecting I would be kept from online play until I reverted the changes. But in the middle of the next level, it interrupted my play and threw me into an online match. I made a few units to check that the values were still down, and realized I was building Berserkers for 9 Gold. I tried to play the match as if the game was normal, but I'm sure it was still rather unfair for the unfortunate opponent. After a nice match with a little back and forth, I won.

I didn't try to play an online match, but the game threw me into one anyway. I'm not sure I could have gotten into an online match on purpose, but I was able to get in one on accident. Ronimo, you might consider patching this to prevent other tinkerers from getting online and mercilessly slaughtering opponents by spamming super-Catapults and cheap Hammer of Thor.

While you're patching, is there anyway we can get some keyboard support? On the Wii it made sense to have to click all the buttons, but I feel the game would play much smoother if we could have the number keys correspond with builds:
(1) Olga
(2) Berserker
(3) Axe Thrower
(4) Frost Hammer
(5) Catapult
(6) Heal
(7) Rage
(8) Lightning
(9) SnowStorm
(0) Hammer of Thor
(-) Upgrades

It would be great to connect each key 2-0 with the corresponding upgrade as well so advanced players wouldn't need to open the tech tree as often. You could even get fancy and assign spacebar or something to jump the camera to the base. But that's a lesser issue than some semblance of keyboard support for unit creation / spell selection.

I have the german retail box and installed the non-steam version.
