I need a new interest. My other hobbies are all burned out and I don't know what to do currently other than complain to myself that I've grown too lazy to get out of bed early or complain about all the complaining my siblings do all day.

Who wants to be my rival in competitive connect 4?

Annoyed with one of my professors who assigns homework on a daily basis in a M/W/F class. He never says when he assigns said homework and there’s never anything consistent about WHEN they are due. The last 3 assignments we had had some consistency to them being due after 2 days and being overdue at 10AM

Then he throws a large unannounced Exam (2nd largest point wise) at us that’s only there for 1 day (Due on a Tuesday a day we don’t even go to class) At 9 AM and he assigned it at 6 PM which is FOUR hours after class is over

Last year I was free by this date. For over 6 months with only 2 or 3 1-week ez jobs to keep rolling. That was awesome. Couldn't afford anything really, but I lived on fresh air doing things I like...
Yet here I am again, sitting my butt out endlessly, in this rotten stinky city, doing what I learned to do but never actually liked. And work doesn't override the mindflow like hobbying or gaming or simply walking. Leaving now is a doubtful option, it's not about the money (it's not enough to buy something valuable/useful, like my own house), but just... I've no idea why I keep doing this. And there's no answer to "What do I do?" question. And this post is the only place I can actually whine about it because noone will see my tears :tear:

Well, universal truth or not, it sucks when it's the truth you live in.

Since the past year my best friends depression has grown into a suicidal tendency. He did it once then promised he would never do it again and I've lived with the worry that he would fall back on that promise. I live in California while he lives in Texas we've gone through so much together I can't leave him behind, but then...

"I'll be here Thursday" he says to me this week.

Thursday comes in he's not there.
Friday comes in he's not there.
SATURDAY comes in he's not there.
Sunday comes and he's still not there, and I'm dying of anxiety. I contact his ex/his childhood friend and finally the police and give them his address only to be told the following

He's been in the hospital (Well alot more then that, but you get the gist).

I'm happy to know he's alive. I just don't know how to process all of this anymore.

I think I need some time to myself. I'm gonna take a small break from posting.

Motherland has some positive sides to it though. It's been a 6-day working week but after there are 4 holidays straight! And the weather is finally ok.

How to declaw cat so it'll stop scratching at doors at 1 AM like a horny piece of * that wants attention and won't let anyone ever sleep.

Wait this isn't Google. :shady:

There's better solutions than declawing your cat, yeah. Declawing them is basically the equivalent of having all your fingernails removed, except far worse, cus cats use their claws to defend themselves, mark territory, etc.
Not to try and discredit your issue; a persistent, noisy cat is indeed annoying, but there's far better solutions to curb this behaviour than to declaw the cat (and it'll likely keep making noise at your door even when it gets declawed, too).
