Nah, posting interviews, or anything else Awesomenauts related, is cool, even if you are the interviewer :P

A question of my own, how many maps will there be (different levels)?

There will be a tutorial map and 3 different battle maps. We might add more maps (alongside characters) as free DLC if the game does well and the community asks for it.

Cool, I think it will be a great thing to have when the game takes off. Understand the wait though.

Nearly there!!

So, I have been checking the boards every so often and no mention of a release day as yet. Understand that these things can't be rushed, but as we are near the end of 2011 and at the EuroGamer Expo it played really well, I was just wondering if you had more of an idea with the final time frame,

Hope you are all well, and not too tired

Tom

We announced the release date last month, actually. The game has been delayed a bit and will be released in February!

Fair enough. Just could see the info on the main site. Have a nice Christmas and can't wait till February.

Will you guys do a closed beta? So we can test the game for a weekend or something like that.
It's very important for me because only your players will see problems like Bugs or Overpowered awesomenauts and i dont want that the game gets released with bugs etc. Many players could abuse them to get fast lvl up or something else

There won't be a closed beta. We have done a lot of balance testing already, and we will keep supporting the game, so if balance issues are found after launch (which is of course very probable, since every game has them at launch), we will release patches to fix balance issues after launch.

We will definately be playing on release day, and probably most of the following days ;)... Looking forward to that. We're also thinking about setting up a "play against devs" type thingie so some of you can get the chance to beat us at our own game :monkey: .

Looking forward to the release day, gentlemen.

I have a couple of questions.

1. Will the game offer party support? For example, if I was in a party of say, two or three people then would we all end up on the same team together?

2. Will you be (or consider) adding any option to add a clan tag to a player's name in the future or will you add anything like titles or callsigns (like MW) to the game? Which brings me to my next question:

3. Are there any in-game challenges to complete while playing at all?

And I don't suppose it's alright to ask what the level cap is?
