I was wondering what kind of basis the characters will be released on? Basically will they be released in packs every month or so, or will it be more regular but one character/map? If any dev's read this please do tell

We don't even know that ourselves, this week we'll be talking with our publisher on how we are going to bring you the first patch/update. Hopefully we can do a big update every month.

Monthly updates? Guess not on Xbox, never seen this before. I heard its a pain in the ass with the certification process. Do you actually have to pay Microsoft for every update (thought I heard that somewhere)? Anyway, would definitaly appreciate this.

I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about patches/updates/content for Live, but from what I have heard, Live is against all goodness in the world.

There's also the topic of cost from PSN/XBLA: from what I've been hearing, two updates to the game are free for the developer to upload(Apparently they can choose which ones? Not sure). They have to pay to make any further updates.
Apparently the costs per update are expensive. As in "Jeepers, I hope we sell more than 10,000 copies of this game!" expensive.

Don't compare this game to LoL/DOTA. This game can't run off of cosmetics, so you'll be paying for characters. It's just a question of 'how much'!
