Thanks for the bug report. I switched the GCC version used to compile RankCheck for version 1.4 in an attempt to improve compatibility with older Linux distributions, but I must have made a mistake while building the Poco library (and presumably SFML as well) bundled with RankCheck. I'll try to fix this for the next release.

Sounds like a good idea! This could even be automated by parsing the Replays.info file once it is populated with valid information (typically when the match ends, or at the very latest, when viewing the on-disk replays menu), eliminating the need to manually select the players on your team.

Any plans to release the source? I'd like to package this with sfml 2.4

It also fails to run with

Code:
./RankCheck: symbol lookup error: ./RankCheck: undefined symbol: _ZN4Poco4PathC1ERKNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEE

This is on Arch latest. I'd try with the system version of poco, but it's the wrong version. It appears to have the symbol, though (or at least the C version)

Code:
$ readelf -s /usr/lib/libPocoFoundation.so.51  | grep _ZN4Poco4PathC1ERKNSt7
  1238: 0000000000112d10   234 FUNC    GLOBAL DEFAULT    9 _ZN4Poco4PathC1ERKNSt7__c
  1906: 0000000000111500   234 FUNC    GLOBAL DEFAULT    9 _ZN4Poco4PathC1ERKNSt7__c

While the source code of this tool is not exactly pretty or readable (it was written in somewhat of a hurry, then I never got around to properly organizing the code), I might end up publishing it at some point to improve compatibility across operating systems. I'll still have to set up a proper CMake build system for the project, though.

As for the symbol linkage issue, I'll try to fix this in the next release by recompiling Poco to match the GCC version used for RankCheck itself.

Don't worry about it. Messy source is much better than no source.

RankCheck is now open-source!

RankCheck v1.5 has been released. Check out the project on GitHub!

Download v1.5 for Windows
Download v1.5 for Linux (64-bit)
Download v1.5's source code

Changelog:
  • RankCheck's source code has been released under the MIT license.
  • Added option to display the rating history tracker at the top of the RankCheck window.
  • Added option to change the game directory. This allows RankCheck to work properly if Awesomenauts is installed in a non-standard library folder.
  • Fixed league number not always being computed correctly.
  • Updated library versions: RankCheck now uses SFML 2.4.2 and Poco 1.8.1.

Out of curiosity, will it be possible to re-implement team-colored backgrounds? Or is that no longer feasible due to the rework?

As the Awesomenauts log files obfuscate certain pieces of information, determining the team of each player is no longer possible during the match. However, once the match has ended, the Replays.info file could theoretically be checked to determine which team each player was on. I may implement this functionality in the future to bring back (partial) support for team colors.
