Is it wrong to name shame hackers? If so, why?

On-topic: presumably to stop people organising witch hunts against "hackers" (or, you know, anyone they call a hacker). You could argue that people need to get over it but you could also argue that it's equally impolite and unhelpful.

Now you just gotta limit the amount of salty people and you have a moba. The chat turns the salt into beautiful fertiliser.

What do you know about the chat salt? I played CS via LAN with public voicechat (literally just a bunch of PC's in one room). Your Dota isn't everywhere near that! There were incidents (in ghettos) with serious injuries during chat skrimishes. But now we have the internet. So, who cares about naming and shaming? Everyone's anonymous.
