I think the problem is just that Zurians narrator with his squeaky voice and exaggerated inflection.
remove the voice actor completely, make the dialogue boxes show up for a shorter time and instead of having a second stage for the tutorial. just make players play a real match.

Been suggested a billion times and I still don't know why it is in the game. :geek:

I am momentarily satisfied with your existence.

My theory at this point is that it's just a subtle way to discourage smurfing. The only people this tutorial thing really affects are content creators and smurfs (read: most people posting in this thread right now).

I can't really see them number of smurf accounts being a large enough number to keep the tutorial, though. Those people that already use smurfs must have finished the tutorial anyway, and those that don't... well, don't.

Unless we're all creating a new one every day, which I'd find hugely surprising.

Of course. Lots of veteran players make a new one for every character they want to practice. New smurfs, every day. It's a river, man. This shouldn't surprise you.

Well, that settles it, then.

We need a mandatory tutorial for every character. One hour minimum per tutorial. No online activity allowed until all tutorials have been completed. To ensure players are only playing online with the most up-to-date knowledge, every time a new 'Naut is released, all the tutorials must be replayed. That way, no one goes into a PvP match without adequate knowledge of the entire 'Naut roster.

That, or Ronimo could just... change how they address smurfs.

Or just keep things the way they are. Like I said, this affects 0% of brand new players who aren't YouTubers, and what popular YouTubers are just now playing this game for the first time? It's just people here on the forums complaining. It's not that making it skippable is a bad idea, it's just that there's no return. There's no reason to do it, so why put in the effort, however small? All it will accomplish is shutting up a few people here until they find the next arbitrary thing to complain about.
