idk why is people so concerned about what ronimo does now, didn't all the same people say "but you get all the nauts for life and a medal" when the game went f2p, effectively making a bust of all of the people who legitimately supported them before that? i guess free players are just that profitable, well what little players are left, truly ironic how this game used to have more players and quality having a paywall

I don't think the fans are better than devs per se, but I think if you crowd-source literally any idea, chances are that somebody out there has a better understanding of the subject than the person who crowd-sourced to begin with. We live in a time where that's a relatively new concept and people are still getting used to it.

It was an exaggeration for comedic effect, not to be taken entirely literally, and it's not true for all devs. More to say simply that there are some devs that are so out of touch with what their fans want that things like Sonic Mania happen.
I make no comment on whether or not Ronimo falls into this category.
