it's finally official now even though we all knew it for a long time now
had a good run, met many people, probably spent too much time playing it :thumb:

the game did indeed have a good run
a very successful kickstarter, tons of dlc, tons of big updates

lll keep playing too, even though I had a 6 month break. There just isnt another game like this. 90% of my frustration I have for this game comes from unbalanced matches (10% from some unbalanced/annoying characters), but even after losing 5 times in a row to completely unfair match, I can find different enjoyment from it than from any other game. :drone:

But you missed the most important part -- the "so long comrades."

Personally, this is the first time I've heard that work on Awesomenauts is ending directly from the horse's mouth. Now admittedly I don't watch every streamisho but I sporadically check the discord and play the game from time to time. But this is really something y'all should've been up front about and probably something you could've said almost two years ago (instead I had to click on someone ELSE's forum post that included a tiny twitch clip). This game really deserved a final hurrah with the release of the complete modding toolkit (which was teased with turret, animation, particle editors) but instead it was dragged out to a painful death.

Good luck on the new IP, I'm just not as enthused about as I would be if you had left your old IP in even decent shape.

We're very excited to share more on our new IP when the time comes!

We've been stating on all our platforms (FB, Twitter, Discord, Steam and not just stream) that no new Nauts content was planned or in the works pretty much since Snork's release.

Not trying to split hairs but I think Egypt Falcon was talking about the difference between:

"We're not planning any new nauts content."
&
"We're not planning any new nauts content indefinitely."

Even after looking up the definition, it still isn't clear. Indefinitely means a very long or unknown amount of time. So even this official statement doesn't mean much if you take it at face value. Welcome to PR.
