Hmm, this really seems like either your videocard has a defect, or your drivers are broken. The newest Nvidia drivers are 275.33, so that is newer than what you have. Could you try installing those?

I downloaded the game for free to see if it would work on my computer. Unfortunately it does not, but I seem to be getting a different error than the common ones (like the common error of error on line 3110).

There is the picture of the error.

(If you cannot view the picture for any reason, this is what it says:

An exception has occured!

OGRE EXCEPTION(2:InvalidParametersException): This params object is not based on a program with named parameters. in GpuProgramParameters::getConstantDefinitionIterator at ..\..\ogre\OgreMain\src\OgreGPUProgramParams.cpp (line 1404)

This occurs when I select a speed and course and it says Loading 1/3 and then the game crashes.

If more information is needed, I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3, 32-bit with an Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller graphics card with driver version 6.14.10.4342.

Also on Proun, the default for my computer for the game's resolution is already on Very Low (if I choose anything higher the game crashes). Also I have turned full screen off.

Hopefully someone can help me!

That is indeed an error I haven't seen before. I'm looking up your Intel card, but that seems to be the motherboard/chipset, not the graphics card, is that correct? And it seems to be from 2002, which is pretty old. What videocard do you have?

That information is correct about the graphics card. The computer calls it the "Display Adapter" which is synonymous of "graphics card" and "video card".

Yeah, I've had this computer since it was Windows XP Service Pack 1.

I am not sure if this will help any but I went through my OGRE text document file and picked out from the information all of the settings and warnings that I got.

All of the sets of =-=- that are thrown in there to indicate that there was a break between the previous one and that one in the order of which I looked through the OGRE test document file.

Also the parts below are after trying to try different tracks. They all failed with the 1404 error.

If someone is able to decipher this, please tell me what is wrong. Also it seems as though A LOT of the meshes are outdated. Could this be one reason as to why the game has errors?

Hmm, looks like your Intel card is simply too old to run Proun. Those really old Intel video cards have lots of core graphics features that they simply don't support. It is really difficult to build a game with modern graphics that works on those, and I didn't have the time to do that. So sorry, but Proun won't work on your particular Intel videocard. :(

The mesh-warnings are not related to this, by the way. That is just a warning from Ogre, but doesn't really matter.

Thank you Joost for telling me this information. Any information to be is better than not getting a reply. Hopefully I will be able to update my graphics card so that I can run Proun on my computer.

Concerning graphics cards...

What graphics cards do you know that work? (Whatever yours is would be nice to have on the list.)
