Not everyone has played League of Legends, what will likely be included in the demo to get players to understand what exactly they should be doing in Awesomenauts and what works? For instance pushing towers by killing minions, working together, etc. If players are unfamiliar with MOBA they might leave the trial confused.

We have a tutorial level that explains it step by step, while also introducing a little bit of the characters and such. And we have Practice mode, where the bots will not play too hardcore during the first few matches to allow players to get used to the game mechanics and experiment a bit. :)

Some games do a nifty multiplayer demo where you get like thirty minutes of "real game" time online before you're relegated to only practice/tutorial with minimal options, etc. Ever considered that?

We already have a 30 minute online demo! Also helps to increase the player base at launch, so that you will be able to find a match more quickly. :)
