Originally this was going to be a thread talking about Smiles and how he has the ability to hook through walls with the skill aiming visual on however I learned that there was quite a bit more to it then I thought. As you can see there Froggy G dashed Yoolip after being stunned which would normally be impossible. However by holding right click with the skill aiming visual on some skills cast themselves when they would normally be cancelled. Whether it's silence Or a stun of any length Characters who can cast skills when stunned due to this bug:
Qi'tarra Chakram Penny Dash Vinnie Dash Swiggens Anchor Dive Froggy Dash Ix Bond Yoolip Gaze Leon Tongue Skol Throw There are also skills that work with this bug, but are cancelled and waste the CD I'll show them all here Penny Pulse Max Time Bubble Rocket Missile Launch And of course the main reason I made this thread is the Smiles bugWhile Smiles doesn't have any stun interactions like the above character he does gain the ability to shoot through small walls and turrets similar to when he was released. In the example I'm going to show I have the skill aiming visual on while my buddy Wyeth doesn't. I hope that these get looked into before 4.7 releases. Thanks for reading! !!!!!!EDIT!!!!!!Turns out this bug works with every single skill effected by the skill aiming visual when used with silence It works with every skill effected by the skill aiming visual in the game when cancelled by silence instead of stun List of skills that can be cast while silenced due to this bugRocket Missile (Works properly rather then being bugged) Vinnie Dash Penny Dash Penny Pulse (Works properly rather then being bugged) Coco Ball Max Scene Illumination Max Time Bubble (Works properly rather then being bugged) Nibbs Orb Swiggens Hook/Anchor Leon Tongue Ksenia Scissors Ted airstrike Yoolip Gaze Clunk Bite Froggy Dash Gnaw Spit Scoop Hammer Smiles Hook Dizzy Dash Skree Saw Sentry BHS Genji Cocoon Voltar Drone Ayla Eye Qi'tarra Chakram Jimmy Rockets Ix Bond Yoolip Gaze Froggy Dash This bug renders silence almost pointless if abused this should be urgent!

Just two little things to add for clarity, since it happens really quick in the GIF @rocket Rockets knockback applies to himself, he gets the CD for his rocket BUT there is no rocket being spawned and he did not do damage. @max Max time bubble only plays the start of the effect and applies the CD to himself, the whole sound is being played (as if there was an invsible bubble) but there is none, neither invisible or visible, no slow is ever applied to anything. @smiles He can even grab people through the top floor of ribbit and will in fact "teleport" the person grabbed right next to him if he gets far away. Would be nice if a GIF of that specific effect could be uploaded aswell because it looks super glitchy lastly, Ronimo has already been made aware of this by now:

These bugs are quite literally the definition of gamebreaking, especially the interactions with the skill indicators.

THOUGHT I WAS DONE? Upon digging deeper it turns out that this bug is even worse then I thought
It works with every skill effected by the skill aiming visual in the game when cancelled by silence instead of stun Yes you heard me EVERY skill effected by the skill aiming visual
List of skills that can be cast while silenced due to this bug Rocket Missile (Works properly rather then being bugged) Vinnie Dash Penny Dash Penny Pulse (CD is not cancelled unlike stun) Coco Ball Max Scene Illumination Max Time Bubble (CD is not cancelled unlike stun) Nibbs Orb Swiggens Hook/Anchor Leon Tongue Ksenia Scissors Ted airstrike Yoolip Gaze Clunk Bite Froggy Dash Gnaw Spit Scoop Hammer Smiles Hook Dizzy Dash Skree Saw Sentry BHS Genji Cocoon Voltar Drone Ayla Eye Qi'tarra Chakram Jimmy Rockets Ix Bond Yoolip Gaze Froggy Dash
This bug renders silence almost pointless if abused this should be urgent!

i mean, they were designed to make the game easier, right? (/s)
re: using skills after either silenced or stunned, there is a setting "silenceableActionButtons = ABT_FACE_TOP ABT_FACE_RIGHT". i might guess, then, that silence is mostly just handled thru ignoring keydown actions but since with visuals this keypress is more or less done preemptively... (and some abilities going through like 20 different phases/sequences to perform how they wanted doesnt really help)
concerning smiles tho, i noticed something odd. for most of the aim visuals for characters they seem to enable the 'hasChargeThrow' setting for the skill ala rae's rift. i need to clarify im not all too certain of the workings of charge related settings, but smiles hook has different bullet settings when at max charge which im not sure anyone else has. a few other settings make me think theres a possibility you cant get this charged hook without the visuals (no autocharge or autothrow on max charge etc).
anyways theres a few differences in the bullets (PoacherChain vs. PoacherChainMax). Chain has a collision radius of 0.04 while ChainMax has a radius of 0.07; Chain has 0 gravity while ChainMax has a gravity of 0.5; and last but not least Chain has a "minTimeBeforeCollideWithObstacle" setting of 0 while ChainMax instead has a value of 0.16. guess someone could see if it can only travel thru 0.16 seconds worth of ground (lol) ... or this could be irrelevant and its some other random animation anchoring and scaling thinger...
